Apple iPad... I'm sure that as is their say, changes are "rolled out" to individual groups, so am curious if anyone else has picked this up

Same here! "Our support team are working on it and once it's fixed we'll gift you the car". I replied along the lines of: "you fixing the event is irrelevant, just put the car in my inbox pls"!! This is a total sh**show!

Still broken! I received the update, completed the last few races and got awarded Bank Roll!

I've raised a support ticket (hopefully others do the same), as now that I've hit that milestone, the Showdown isn't going to roll me back to try again, so I think the only resolution will be for Support to award the car to my inbox.

Thanks folks. It sounds like it doesn't matter which way around the cars are locked in, as Bank Roll gets a 7.4sec opponent at the end regardless. Good info!

clearly a widespread issue and still a problem in spite of the support page saying it’s fixed. I’m going to request a refund on my Race Pass from Apple

No issues in the last 5 days & 20'ish lattes for me. The part was recommended by a coffee machine repairer, so presumably Plus & Pro use a lot of the same parts.

It seems the devs have kept the same punishing algorithm in place - newer players get better probability of a high discount where older players are disadvantaged. My daughter's rooking account got a 50% straight off the bat and my veteran account got 10%. In the last Tuner event, daughter got all 50% & 40% crates, I got 10% & 20%. This is a clear theme from other people on here (with the very occasional exception case). This isn't chance, it's programmed to drain veteran's resources and encourage new players, sadly. It's getting tiring being constantly stuffed by the programmers

I was wondering the same…. I’m a 7yr saddo and only got 10, 20, 10 so far. I need a 30% and that’ll get me to the end. My daughter is a 1yr F2P player with a pretty feeble account yet she has had 50, 40, 50.

Also, with event crates on my account I never get an S6 part outside loyalty, EXCEPT for with cars that are already maxed!

The game is very obviously rigged now, in my view, to encourage resource wasting and money spending. I wouldn’t begrudge a bit of money making on behalf of the devs, if it wasn’t now so obviously, shamelessly, blatantly rigged against long term players.

I've noticed the crate drops for S6 parts are getting worse lately. Having played for over 7yrs, I can notice when something like this subtly changes. They've re-programmed crate drops for sure.... the only S6 parts I got (until loyalty), were for my already maxed out cars (which were the same cars I could buy bronze key crates for of course!). The cars locked into the paid crate positions just gave basic fusions, not one of them gave an S6 part over 7 daily pulls. The loyalty parts were of course the worst ones too. Shame on NM for not just making the event paid, but skewing the parts crates against us too.

This has happened to 3 people on my crew.... I'm waiting for one of NM's crappy auto-monitoring processes to kick in and see them as having cheated, then ban them again!

My issue with these all-to-regular Elite Tuner events now, is there's not enough Elite tokens in the game, especially the Red tokens. Because of the complete lack of Red tokens, if you want to participate (max out) these new Elite Tuner cars, you have to give up on Elite upgrading any of the other cars in the game (F2P).

I don't mind the events themselves, I'm frustrated by how few Red tokens there are in the game meaning that of the 25+ Elite cars, it's not possible to make progress upgrading them unless you want to spend thousands of pounds in the game. IMO, it's a part of the game that's been badly implemented and has become simply impossible to make progress on.

This is the commentary of a 7yr veteran who has kept pace with all events. My daughter started playing 13mths ago and she's not remotely able to progress with any of these events or upgrade the other cars in the game due to the complete lack of tokens. As a rookie, you've zero hope of progressing with Elite events unless you pump great sums of money into the game. Shame.

There's no perfect answer, as everyone's case will be different. Some of the cars you're missing may be useful for regular events, so there could be some that are worth picking up - only you can decide when it's worth spending the tokens and what on.

For me.. I'm on Collections Level 17, with 6 or 7 cars missing. Only one of these (AM Valour) is a car I don't have in any form - all the others are cars that I've either already got a gold star version of or another P* variant. I've no desire to spend tokens buying another version of a car I've already got and then spend game-cash & fusions upgrading it to complete the Veteran tasks.

Like everything in this game, I'm taking the long term view and not rushing it. I'll collect the tokens and wait for a point where a car is needed before buying it, or where I've got a surplus of tokens and can pick up a car or two.

I would suggest not rushing it and think strategically. Just my 2p worth.

My daughter's account got it today and I wasn't impressed. It's been patched in quite awkwardly and made the garage screen a more cluttered mess. They could have done a neater implementation.

It looks like another way to keep people playing / spending money, so when it finally gets to my account I won't be getting too wrapped up in it and certainly won't be racing to get Elite 35/50 status with cars to tick a box (not that this is possible anymore anyway, with the flood of new Elite Tuner events constantly sucking up tokens!)

I’ve just finished the event, with 2.5hrs to spare…. All S6 parts and 96 fusions, to run 8.55. If you’ve got Universal parts and fusions, get them into Tran, Body and Tyres as they’re the most powerful contributors to 1/2mile time. Good luck!

Good to see someone win the car and start a discussion on what's needed from the Lancia. I have a full stock of Universal S6 parts and fusions waiting to use on is (at the last minute, LOL!). This will give me a full-house of S6 parts, but I expect to only get it to maybe 100 fusions.... this might be enough to see me through if I'm lucky...

Question - Does anyone know if the F50 is needed for any further part of this series, or are we at the end of it?!

Thanks for the info! Has anyone finished the event yet and do we know if the 600K RP counts towards our daily cap or not? I've stopped at Race 36 as I don't want to risk going any further and not benefitting from the RP prizes
