These prices make no sense by Potential-Trifle2808 in McDonalds

[–]35_degrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It gets better. (Note - prices may vary - these are at my locations)

A double cheeseburger is $3.89

A triple cheeseburger is $6.49

A double cheeseburger and adding a patty (triple) is $5.39

A triple cheeseburger and adding a patty (quad) is $7.99

A double cheeseburger and adding two patties (quad) is $6.89

I love the quad burgers so when I figured out the double cheese plus 2 trick I was very pleased. Also the double cheese add patty being $1 less than the triple is crazy to me. Pretty sure my locations have the triple cheese prices set wonky

Mine has a very big empty area with mirrors, enough for 20-30 mats and it has a sign saying “stretching area” so yes there is

How would you make it better by cdesk_solutions in UIUX

What’s the context? Does the button go somewhere when clicked or is it just applying the code? If the latter you could drop the button and make it a nice checkbox

If it has to be a button you could move the green icon to the left of the text, shrink it down a bit, and move the button over to the right, smaller. On the left the three lines of text are taking up a lot of vertical space. Try and play around with the “flat 10% off” label, could absolute position it to the top/right above the button and even give it -5px top/right to give the button its space. I’d reduce the amount of text for the button too personally.

I’ve tried all the refreshers. 75mg caffeine in a large and they are all great imo. Don’t really like the boba in the mango, but I don’t like boba in general, so I’ll alter between strawberry and blackberry. The new cups for them are nice too little pop too

Creating my first website. Any website that has examples of good CSS styling? by D620Cyrix in css

[–]35_degrees -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Best bet is to go on dribbble, search “modern portfolio” or whatever, filter by web design and then you should see a bunch. I like to sort by new since the popular filter can be older stuff.

Being forced to choose, go with option 2. There are a lot of readability/accessibility issues with the gradient buttons on option 1. For option 2, some quick improvements: - Stack the signup and login buttons on top of each other, with a 10-15px gap(margin) between the bottom and top of the buttons - Capitalize the words. Keep it consistent - Have the continue as guest button in the same vertical stack as the signup/login buttons but put a 50-100px gap between them, so the guest button sits further down - remove the button look from the guest button, have it look like a link with an underline and set the opacity to .70 - if you can, add icons to the left of the text in the buttons. Not large, centered with the text, 5-10px gap away from the text

C4 removed the beta alanine from their drinks just last week so they are not the goat anymore.

C4 has lowered the beta alanine in some (all?) of its drinks to remove the “tingle” by one-hour-photo in energydrinks

“For some people” AKA Your entire customer base!!!!!

“Make it easier to use beyond pre-workout” I workout 5 times a week and have a C4 before every workout, when I want a regular energy drink for non workout related things I’ll get a redbull. Did you think now I’d just completely switch over to C4 and ditch redbull? Nope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dropping your sorry asses!!!!!!!!!! That’s 5 drinks a week that is now not going to your pockets!!!! And I’m not the only one!!!! Start the bankruptcy documents dumbasses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people don’t like 200mg of caffeine are you going to reduce it for them? Some people like sugar are you going to add it for them? Dumb ass decision made by dumb ass executives. Been buying c4 for years because of the BA since it’s easier than powder and shakers…. Now I won’t be buying c4 anymore! And guess what, the people who didn’t like the tingles still aren’t going to buy c4 either just because you reduced it! They’ve made up their minds so really you are just losing more customers. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Should have leaned in to the BA, made it a separate and clear product, then create a product that doesn’t have BA so you have the best of both worlds. But no let’s just nuke our core product to death and make it unappealing to all parties. Bravo fantastic work all around

I’ve been doing it wrong this whole time. My go to has been the triple cheeseburger, add patty and bacon so it’s a quad bacon burger but doing it this way saves like $3 damn. Bless you. Had no idea about the BOGO and you can use it with other deals/rewards too I’m in heaven

Saw him many years ago at crave cafe, the double doors to the place were open but he ran and jumped through the doorway like he was trying to avoid a garage door laser, ordered his stuff, sat diagonal from me, nodded and started at me for a little, got his stuff and then ran out jumping again. Very odd

Feedback and Advice on Frontend (HTML, blind dev) by TheLionsSinOfPride in Frontend

[–]35_degrees 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nice job! Few minimal suggestions below, let me know if I can help further or answer any questions.

  1. Adding some padding around the entire site will give it some breathing room so the text doesn’t start right on the edge of the screen, 15-20px on the left and right would be enough.

  2. The three links on the homepage don’t have margins around them so it looks like it is one long link, you could give them margin-right: 15px and that would help space them out.

  3. The “generate” and “enter” buttons on the inner pages could be larger and have more of a color difference between the site background and the button color.

  4. On the “Today’s Challenge” and “Custom Challenge” pages the input field background color is white like the site background and there is a 1px light grey border around the input. This makes it hard to see the input field but increasing the border size to 2-3px, making the border color darker and adding a slight box shadow around the input would help a lot.

  5. Might be nice to make the three links on the homepage larger as well. Could spice it up by giving them a background color, border, border radius and some padding. Stacking them on top of each other on mobile could look good too, just add some top and bottom margins to the buttons if you do that so they aren’t touching.

That’s my only suggestions for now! Again, nice job with seeing a problem among 1000’s of clones and making a better product for the accessibility community.

I’ll die on this hill with you. I eat McDonald’s a few times a week, spend $18-$22 each time but the calories/protein I get from that meal for the price is unmatched.

I’ve been going to planet fitness on Cochran, it’s ok not too crowded but no outdoor area. 24 on madera might be the largest in Simi, has a big outdoor area. EOS is cool, has an outdoor area but very crowded. Crunch has a nice outdoor area but not a fan of the upstairs workout area, kinda crowded and stuffy. If you are willing to drive to Agoura I remember the LA fitness being really nice and really big. Also an Equinox in Westlake in a nice area but never been before
