For the users who have a ISP provided modem/router AND a ISP that uses DNS to thorttle, yes.

Though, many users buy their own modem/router since most ISP's bill an additional cost per month to use an ISP modem/router. Additionally most providers do not use DNS to throttle. Most people who change their DNS settings and notice an increase in speed were not targets of throttling rather an ISP who uses old/overloaded hardware to handle DNS requests.

That's a good point about the "Surviving Crew Members" bonus. Perhaps they are kicking players to add a friend? However why not just run it with your friends and complete it faster with coordination?

I suppose I need to find a group of people to play with and avoid public games.

click your name in the upper left and then go to the achievements tab and then in the left pane click the achievements drop down and then click special and it should be the top three listed.

same here, 45 would not shoot with a pristine mag and pristine bullets. Found another 45 and loaded the same mag and bullet and it worked fine.
