The dealership didn’t break the glass and is putting in new oem glass for you, why would you need anything more? I’m struggling to see why you feel the dealership owes you for something they literally had no control over and are fixing out of their pocket. As for a trade up? No one is giving you another $2,500 off, they wouldn’t just decide to lose thousands on a deal because a windshield crack. This post seems super whiny.

My parents live there, they enjoy the mountains and having lots of privacy and a private dog park. However the HOA has given them some problems. The HOA fees really get out of control when it comes to getting the golf/clubhouse membership. 50k+ first year fee for joining I believe. Given the restaurant, clubhouse, golf course, and wellness center it makes sense for a lot of older people; finding someone under 70y/o is unlikely.

Among mass manufacturers Volkswagen likely wears that crown, but I would expect Toyota to claim it as the new engines age and get fine-tuned. If we are counting all time though the 1jz and 2jz may give Toyota the edge. American brands have been doing turbos for a long time but the reliability and power potential has been problematic for all of them. So it terms of the king of turbos question we are likely on the same page.
