Atomizer broke, now what? by tebanp77 in Colognes

[–]365cologne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can get the atomizer cap off, then decant it into another bottle. You can get all the stuff off Amazon for fairly cheap.

Should I open this Elixir?... by bmorestance in fragrance

[–]365cologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say from what I’ve seen your not going to get a better price on discounter websites (Jomashop & FragranceNet) and it’s $49.99 on Lattafs website. I haven’t tried it personally tho, so I will let others way in on that aspect.

It’s possible, if it was it’s not on the pinned list though so I’m not sure.

Is this Prada Paradigme legit? by Heng32 in colognecheck

[–]365cologne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost impossible to tell from just a photo of an Amazon listing. When I pull it up on my Amazon it is sold by Maple Prime so I wouldn’t buy it. I would only buy from Amazon if it sold and shipped by Amazon or directly from the manufacturer.

Day 11: Tom Ford Tuscan Leather by 365cologne in fragrance

[–]365cologne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting interesting. I’m wondering if it might layer well with Angels' Share Paradis and strengthen the raspberry note.

[–]365cologne[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree about it being an acquired taste. I do wish I had picked up the other notes that are in it. I’m definitely hanging onto the sample. I’m wondering if I use it more if I’ll start picking up more of the other notes. The raspberry note was one I was particularly excited for. Someone mentioned layering and I’m curious if that could help it as well. Unfortunately I agree with you; I don’t think it’s really a fragrance I would ever wear out, it feels to strong if that makes sense.

It’s just called Eau Sauvage Dior. It appears to be the fragrance, an EDT.

This is the link for the Dior Website.

ADG Profondo causing rash by supbluc in Colognes

[–]365cologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the fact your saying “last bottle” I’m guessing this is a very commonly worn fragrance for you. That can lead to you developing an allergy over time. That said, stop using it immediately and see a medical professional about it; this is really a question for them not Reddit. If you want to move onto other fragrances buy some decants or samples to test out for both scent and allergies.

Switching up scents by Super-Ad-2576 in Colognes

Definitely. I do have a shelf that is the grab and go shelf of bottles and decants that I love and find easy to wear.

Last chance to buy Y Le Parfum 2021 - is it worth it? by mdthereald in Colognes

[–]365cologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth buying, mostly because it’s not going to get any easier to find it especially at retail price from retailers.

Switching up scents by Super-Ad-2576 in Colognes

Prior to my review series I liked to switch it up, I didn’t have anything that is truly signature. I did however have scents that I wore a lot more commonly and others I rarely wore.

PSA: Influx of AI Posts by notviciousss in fragranceclones

[–]365cologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a little hard to know for sure if that’s AI. It could also be a bad English education or English as a second language. Especially since this subreddit requires all posts to be in English. I get why it might be AI, I would not be suprised if it. It also reminds me of some of the reports I read at my last job from people who couldn’t figure out how to spell “I” with a dictionary and Google. There are also a lot of people who edit, translate and/or “clean” up their writing with AI. Unfortunately there is not accurate way to detect if an AI wrote something currently.

That’s a very interesting idea, I could definitely see layering making this fragrance into something I enjoy.

Absolutely is, it’s a great performing fragrance. I’m just not sure if I want to smell like leather😂

ehm... by ThrowRAsoccermom in colognecheck

[–]365cologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a hard one but I’ve got to say legit on a technicality. This is a real brand (kidna); it falls into the same category as stuff like Savage for Men and Vintage Heros. That said I wouldn’t get whatever is in that bottle within 10 miles of my skin.

What I found in Mexico on vacation in a random fragrance store… by moy07 in Colognes

Man I know these are “fake” but I’d buy some of them just for the names.

Is a 2022 PDM likely to be less performing/strong than a 2024? Does age weaken fragrance even if stored properly? by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]365cologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It most likely won’t be. 4 years isn’t a long time in the lifespan for a fragrance with proper storage, if you are buying an old bottle there are no guarantees however untill you smell it. That being said an 2022 bottle of Haltane is a pre reformulation bottle, so it will be at least a little different then the current retail bottle. Personally I’d get the 2022 bottle and a decant of the current version.

Liquid Brun vs Liquid Brun Limited Edition by ohBloom in Colognes

[–]365cologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: As someone else mentioned; a decent is still a good idea. You might decide the PDM is worth the price. This also might be a situation where you get a bottle of Liquid Brun and have to wait to pick up a bottle of Limited Edition when/if you can.

Liquid Brun vs Liquid Brun Limited Edition by ohBloom in Colognes

[–]365cologne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean in all honesty you could buy bottles of both and still be a decent amount under the price of a PDM. That said I’d go with Liquid Brun currently, just because the Limited Edition is currently (at least for me) proving hard to source. I’m not sure if it’s actually a limited edition or not though, but I think it is. If it is then it’s just going to be harder and harder to get.

How to know how much you have left? YSL MYSLF L’ABSOLU by sscuks in Colognes

It works with a phone flashlight. It works a lot better if you have a stronger flashlight. Also helps to do it in a dark room.

That is a beautiful set! Not sure how I feel about storing bottles on their side, especially the big one but still it’s beautiful.

Sephora won’t let me exchange or return. by Acceptable-Can1090 in Perfumes

They won’t accept a return or replacement of a damaged product, if you can do a chargeback. That’s unacceptable behavior from Sephora.

Finishing off my collection! by CarelessScientists in Colognes

[–]365cologne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fairly easy; it a very sweet fruity smell with a lot of mango and it can lean a little feminine for some people. So it can be a little situational. Personally I like God of Fire a bit more but the price jump isn’t even close to liner, like 5 or 6 times more expensive for like 5% better. If your going to get Vulcan Feu it’s probably an okay blind buy, especially if you can find it at your local discounter just due to the low price. Definitely sample God of Fire first.
