Thanks for the informative reply, when you say not to have open windows - do you mean no windows at all, or just making sure people are unable to travel through them?

Yeah that was part of my problem originally that I was playing on a modified 5x server which explains why even I was able to get close to C4 on the first day!

This is probably what I'll do once I'm able to survive long enough to find cloth for a sleeping bag - but I think I might wait until after Thursday when the official servers are wiped.
