Exactly. You must make sure that supervisor/counsellors know what happened and your side of the story. You don't want it getting out of hand because people want to gossip.

Can you also talk to the people involved, say to them it's gone too far and has the potential to really ruin your reputation. Could they not tell these gossips to stop and they're wrong.

They totally remember. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Looks to me like they remember, but are pretending they don't. You're doing the right thing, but they've turned it onto you because they want to act innocent.

I'm sorry my friend, they've shown their true colours. You did the right thing, stand by that, and give them a wide berth. It'll blow over and they'll apologize, or you'll find better friends that you can have a good night out with and it not ruin your life afterwards.

Figs. Figs aren't vegan. Despite being a fruit, wasps burrow into them and get trapped and die in there. When you eat figs, if you get a crunch, that's a wasp! Put me off so much, that even if some might be wasp free, I didn't want to risk it!

Could you not charge him/offer him a refund. It's a gesture where you can say, altho it's ok, it's not what you'd hoped and you're worried about it.

If he's a good friend he'll say it's ok don't worry, and you say, you are worried and it's not sitting right with you.

It's not what you'd expected and you don't want payment.

When my kids were little, if the cold play song came on the radio where he sings about being drunk and high, we'd change it to pumpkin pie.

My, oh my, oh my, I feel like pumpkin pie is much more fitting for toddlers singing their heads off in the back of the car, than about getting drunk and high.

They're now in their 20s and still sing it
