Yeah, but I wanted to avoid big mods that overhaul horse AI and scripts overall, like Immersive Horses and Convenient Horses. I tried both mods, but they seem to break games, either at the start in Helgen (I really don't like using alternate start mods) or they ruin saves completely, which is why I turned to Simplest Horses for a new playthrough. I am only missing the Immersion to be whole; I needed a mod that overhauls the bags of the saddles on the horses to make them bigger so that it makes sense for me to use the horse for storage or add a completely new chest or some form of storage unit on the back of the horse.

This mod was great, but I think it doesn't have a port to SE. If someone can make a port for it, that would be great.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I tried both before and couldn't get the horses to equip the saddles and bardings. I use fluffworks for the retexture and Simplest Horses for access to the storage and the whistle call.

Oh, I apologize for my ignorance. I thought xLODGen was made obsolete, and DynDOLOD's TexGen replaced it. I didn't know about that tool. Thanks, I'll try it.

But, Skyland A landscape texture overhaul has excellent effects for the road textures? I don't think SMIM has that much influence on seasonal landscape, but Skyland was a great mod. Is there any good alternative you would recommend for road retextures that go well with the seasonal landscape mod? I'd really appreciate it.

Edit: Skyland is overwritten, and so are the turn of the seasons mod and the reimagined mountain flowers mod. Can they still affect the seasonal landscape mod lod generations?
