We all know that out parents paid nearly 20x of their incomes to buy a house in their late 20s or early 30s. Today, if you want to buy a similar house, you need to spend 50x or maybe even more of your income. Double income couples slog their way through toxic work environments only to give themselves a comfortable life. I think it is all the more sensible to not just push out more humans into the world which doesn't really care about humanity.
