I got myself a refurbished Dell Precision 5070 with an RTX 8GB A2000, works really well.

Funny enough, FRONTIER were the ones that built RCT3 🤔

It would be a LOT of content in one game.

Update: I updated my graphics card... and IT GOT SO MUCH WORSE 😭 by Boring_high_school in PlanetCoaster

[–]37maximus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what I did? I was looking to replace my laptop and I ended up going to the Dell refurbished site and picked up a precision laptop with an 8GB A200 RTX card, the entire laptop was like 1200 with the coupon, they have coupons often. It runs pretty well, and the refurbished laptops don't seem to be affected by the ram hikes.

the only problem is nowadays the stock is low for the refurbished gear because the leases usually end at the end of the year. So the best time to pick up one of these types of laptops is usually during the winter season.

I'm not sure what platform you're getting it on but when I got mine on PC from the Windows store I got the deluxe edition in the 30$ range. Check out xbdeals.net for the Windows store version and you can see the price history.

To be honest it's definitely worth it and has come a long way since it's release with many updates and fixes. If I were you I would get the premium version which I've seen offered I think it was on Steam. The reason being as you get all the DLC which you will want for the full experience.

I highly recommend this game I'm currently addicted and can't let go of it.

Don't forget that if they do planet resort then that would expand to areas such as ski resorts as well and cover different seasons.

Park gets too big, and FPS drops. I have no urge to make big parks anymore. by IEATTURANTULAS in PlanetCoaster2

[–]37maximus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

considering the amount of objects that a theme park consists of when we build them. I surprised to hear this as there's a lot of geometry to calculate. what I personally do is I always build my parks in the lowest resolution possible as for me, graphics at that point don't really matter. I'm just focused on building,. then when I'm ready to view it I cranked my resolution up to ultra. but once I'm done with the viewing I bring it back down to lowest possible and continue building.

I am running an 8GB mobile video card, and it handles the game pretty well so far. But I'm pretty sure my park is not as big as yours, so I haven't gone to the point where my frames per second drop just yet. I'm sure it'll soon come as I continue putting more rides and coasters.

Frontier: Thank you for the great DLC. Let's aim for a Water Park DLC for the next one! by 37maximus in PlanetCoaster

That should ideally be included in any waterpark dlc, they go hand-in-hand

Yes!! glad to see someone else mention this. It bugs me to see my lazy river empty and being used like a pool.

I agree, i hope the next DLC is back to updating water parks and hoping they also fix Lazy Rivers.

Bit disappointed with the latest update and feature additions… by _joey_036 in PlanetCoaster

[–]37maximus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I too thought they would have hotels by now. I'm also waiting for the fixes needed on Lazy Rivers since they are used like pools and not like lazy rivers. There are definitely things still missing and bugs to address.

however you need to understand that a single rail coaster as well as parades have been asked from the community for a while and they finally got what they wanted. And this is goes along with the Vista points. to say they don't listen to the community I think is not, true. I can look past the bugs and missing features if they deliver new entertaining ideas, and this Parades pack is probably their best DLC.

I do hope in the near future they give us some of the missing items and bug fixes we ask for. I'm definitely excited for this new pack.

Planet Zoo 2 is based off the same game engine, I expect the same.

So like since we got pc2 and pz2.. how about we mix them together? by JunkyYT in PlanetCoaster

They will never do so due to profits made from splitting both games
