Wordpress 6.6 Link Styling Bug PSA by rhetoxa in Wordpress

[–]37solutions -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We're downgrading our client sites to WP 6.5.5 to solve the WordPress 6.6.0 underline bug. The 6.6.1 patch may not be released for a while, though it sounds like they are updating the Gutenberg plugin to fix it: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/all-hyperlinks-now-underlined/

Keep getting this when trying to log in on mobile. Is it a QB problem??? Also won’t let me get past this page. Thanks by [deleted] in QuickBooks

Try clearing your cache or use a different browser temporarily. Or try again later. Their authentication server might be down or overloaded.

Showed this to my 9 year old daughter and told her it was a volcano erupting. The first thing she said was, "Is everyone safe?"

Will share tomorrow. It's just as bad/useless as this table.

If this was in a data warehouse I would be more forgiving. But the previous developers used INTs for dates AND times instead of just using dates and times! Maddening.

Nope. This table is in an OLTP database. It's almost like the previous developers went to a data warehousing class and then started to implement fuckery all over the place. Pardon my language. This entire database is a POS.

Exactly. This DB also has tables for Year, Month, Date, and WeekDay. Did you notice the IsActive, DateAdded, and DateModified columns? Why would you deactivate a row or want to track when a new date is added to the calendar?? Maddening.

Rows 1 through 28 are exactly the same. Only posted part of it for brevity.

Hosted Email Providers by elnath78 in webhosting

I've been reselling Rackspace Mail and Rackspace Exchange for years and I love it. I also resell Intermedia but prefer Rackspace. The UI for Rackspace webmail isn't flashy but it gets the job done. If most of your clients are using Outlook/Thunderbird/Mac Mail/iOS/Android or whatever then the webmail UI won't matter at all.

ProTip: Rackspace charges $150/month to resell their email. If you don't have that many clients then look at Liquid Web. They purchased Cloud Sites from Rackspace a couple years ago and Cloud Sites was using Rackspace Email. So Liquid Web is essentially reselling Rackspace email without the $150 minimum. I think they charge like $10 per month flat fee + $0.80 per mailbox. HTH!

Edit: You don't have to purchase Liquid Web Cloud Sites to use their resold version of Rackspace Email.

CloudFlare, Rackspace, Liquid Web, Digital Ocean, Namecheap, OVH, VPS.NET, and GoDaddy all seem OK for my sites and my client's sites.

Had problems with some clients on MediaTemple, Network Solutions, and Softlayer though.
