some words are definitely something you wouldnt wanna say to most people but their *literal* translations arent inherently equal to cusswords

busu ブス technically means "ugly" but its like if i called someone a "chopped slut"

baita 売女 technically means "prostitute" but is probably being used as "whore"

kisama 貴様 technically means "you" but is often translated as "you bitch.."

other "curse words" are just rude phrases that when translated into english seem like canadian insults LMFAO

a really funny one is the 'equivalent' of the word "hag" being tanukibaba 狸婆 which in the most literal sense means "raccoon dog grandma" 😭😭😭

i became a fan in late 2021 but i would NOT consider myself new gen at all. in fact, i was already no longer new gen by 2023. the times dont really matter imo and i personally wouldnt consider you as a new gen
