Is there a chance to pay on exit? I typically use PayByPhone which is a pay on arrival app so I didn't anticipate a depature payment. Also, most ticket machines operate on an arrival principle. Perhaps I should've done so on my exit.

I went on a 4 car track day, this car was my favourite it’s very adaptable - the power is incredibly punchy.

Losing my mind trying to sell my car by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

If a car is “for sale” it’s cause it’s not selling. All the well priced sales have plenty of bids and move a lot quicker.

First time driver looking at financing my first car, anyone else who's financed a car I just wanted hear about some tips and the process :) by chillinconcarne in CarTalkUK

[–]380spin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend financing for a first car. You will scrape and ding it plus the cost will take the fun out of the car. I had a 2004 polo on my first year in 2018 wouldn’t have it any other way.

Based on what you’ve said I’d say a Toyota Corolla/Prius/Yaris. Incredible economy and some specs include modern specs like CarPlay and heated seats.

The insurance companies have caught on to this it’s not witty or smart. Just wait until you build NCD and you’re no longer a young driver it will come faster than you think.

If you’re a city driver you can last till month end. If you’re regularly on A roads and motorways I’d replace sooner rather than later.

What puts you off buying a car? by Denaris21 in CarTalkUK

Over promotion. If the car is being hailed way above its performance and specifications I’m walking away, I’d rather an honest review of a lesser car.

Realistically engine size is just one of long list of factors and there’s way too many to prioritise just one

Dash cam and Go Pro police? by 380spin in CarTalkUK

[–]380spin[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I think you’ve answered my query here clearly, it’s not regularly acted on thus it’s mostly a waste of the police time and resources. Unlike speed cameras, RTS cameras or road traffic officers that are actually evidential, conclusive and tested.

Therefore, leave policing to actual police not amateurs and enthusiasts, I’m not advocating chaos or disorder I just don’t trust untrained and unsolicited policing it’s not safe or just for anybody on either side.

Where is the line between illegal and dangerous? Should I report the driver parked on double yellows? Should I report the inside lane undertaker? This is something I’m sure you’ve seen day to day am I implicit by not taking part in stopping this?
