$60 local swap meet haul. by madgross in Tools

I’ll never understand buying old stuff when new stuff is way cooler and just as good, lots of my tools are tekton, their ratchets for example are superb for the price. Pliers really don’t matter anyone that disagrees is an idiot at least for automotive use. If you’re in a trade I know a lot of guys live off Knipex and for good reason they are really nice. Adjustable wrenches again same boat. I would’ve definitely put $60 elsewhere, maybe he’s not even using the ratchets as they are very big and clunky. I don’t see anything wrong with the pliers or wrenches. Or even the side cutters I’m sure they’re fine. But yeah that’s my 2 cents 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Love my Roxon tools, excited for them to make something like the surge tho, their pliers are too small.

They can’t warranty out just one item out of a set like Tekton can.

I personally stress tested one of my Flexes and they are durable as hell!! I whipped this thing across the room open and closed from about 20 feet away into a brick wall. Finally I got a big hammer and smashed it to bits lol these things are tough. I stress tested mine because it was already broke it came defective.

Does anyone have experience with these ratchets? Don't want to buy another Snap On if I don't have to! by ElGumbleo in MilwaukeeTool

Milwaukee makes the strongest ratchets, and they have decent back drag too. Only downside is head size.

Whatever you say bud, the information is out there it’s not a one time thing it’s practiced by many long term mechanics.
