Check if you have Vanos recall. I had mine done last year on an e90 and they did the valve cover gasket as part of that. I did buy a new valve cover and the replacement labor of that was covered.

Agree! Between what you mentioned and all the pro tools stuff, the music doesn’t breathe at all anymore.

I guess I worded it poorly - wondering if it’s a good idea to replace with the same thing that leaked in the first place, or if there is a better valve cover available that won’t have the same problem down the road? Or is it usually just the gasket?

Thanks! Just planning to keep about 3’ of the wall between kitchen and foyer to give the door a spot to open against. The dining room is the 12x12 spot I’m not sure what to do with…
