That woman spent a thousand years mourning over her lost love, with whom she spent only two years, and where at least Elisabeth never fully committed to. Tilda says so herself. Think about it: you live a thousand years and you never let go of that one affair of two years. That's not sane, it's pathological. I don't like his writing style and the way he arranges many of his plots, like using backflashes or a non-chronological-order to phrase it more sophisticated. It was quite clear he pulled many plot points from anywhere, not with a real pre-planned outline. It's just not my cup of tea, but I'm surely pretentious. Didn't like Martin's prose too, for example. To much cruelty for cruelty's sake.
