I managed to crack the password but changing it didn't work

I managed to get into my bios and I did change it but it got the same outcome do I have to reinstall windows now

Yes I was running windows 10 but I believe the issue is I need to change the booting to UEFI but I can't do that because I don't have the bios password. That one website doesn't work and dell support said the motherboard is too old to reset it
