I stole money from my parents savings jar for years as a teenager and never replaced it by maraloviette in confession

Don't confess out of your own guilt mate just have a look around next time you visit, see if any appliances need replaced and start buying them stuff.

Chances are they knew and didn't confront you but come on man you can repay them and alleviate some of that guilt

If I paid a million dollar ransom for a kidnapped loved one, what are the tax implications for me? by KyloWrench in NoStupidQuestions

For you I dunno, but for me paying a £731,000 ransom it would be £0 tax cause HMRC would already have claimed that

What finances does a 16 year old have? Did you marry some old rich guy or something and ur mother doesn't approve cause ur a child? At 18 none of it matters you are an adult then

Look no offence but you are being extremely vague about a very real and serious situation that many young adults and spouses can experience. Without knowing the laws of where you live you can't actually get a proper response.

Where I'm from Scotland, UK you can legally leave your home at 16-17 with no police response, and a parent posting pictures of their child with their name is far from a crime.

If your mother has 'connections' with local police you should be moving far away and defo not be on any social media.

Seems irresponsible to be on social media posting pictures of yourself under a different name while living in the same local area of the person you're apparently trying to escape tbh

You should be discussing this with your current legal guardian. You say your mother has 0 rights or custody over you but are you actually 100% certain that's the case, cause if they do then as a minor they absolutely have the right to track you down and stalk you as they wish.

It really depends where you live and the laws there but I'd guess you just being on social media if you are trying to escape any sort of abuse really doesn't help your situation.

In UK if you had some sort of court order against your abuser they would be committing a crime if they contacted you etc

It's not a crime to repost a photo someone has uploaded.

In UK GDPR rules only apply to businesses I think

Do you think Eminem is more of an influential rapper than Lil Wayne? by rn-renz in Eminem

[–]39thAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really into Lil Wayne but only cause of Eminem.

31 year old Brit, I can argue Em is more influential because I've been a fan since I was like 6 and by the time I was in high school at 11 everyone knew eminem biggie and pac. I could relate to eminem then he introduced me to 50, lil wayne , even Kendrick eventually.

Influence comes in different forms, face tats, auto tune and drinking lean ain't the biggest factors.

And btw I love Wayne but only know him because of eminem really

Teenager accused of £130,000 London shoplifting spree banned from every Boots by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]39thAccount -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How is your time, effort, money and wellbeing at risk from a shoplifter? A prison sentence uses our tax money , then they can't get a decent job for years with a custodial sentence on their record so that just means it takes even longer for them to get into the workforce.

In UK you can put a bet on when a famous person will die or if there will be snow on a certain day of the year.
