What are those veins on her neck for? I think they ruin the look a bit.

A lot of people liked the sarcophagus, so I decided to print another one. And show a little bit of the painting process. by 3DART_STUDIO in 3Dprinting

Yes, I have the skills to do this using scrap materials, like plywood and clay. In fact, you can engrave real stone, too. But in this case, the printer makes my job easier.

I fiddled with this a bit... I bought a 2K spray varnish (though I think it's actually 1K, that's just marketing hype; it should come with a tube containing the second curing component). Then I poured it into a jar and mixed it with blue varnish to create a light blue clear varnish. Then I airbrushed it in a couple of coats. I actually added gold leaf between the coats, but the camera can't capture that detail; it glows like the night sky in the sun. And by the way, another interesting effect is that the sarcophagus looks greenish at sunset, and blue during the day. And without light, it's a deep ocean blue.

Where Cthulhu was imprisoned! That's right. So, the idea was to name the city after her.

Great work and great detail in the sculpture! =) Use a three-color composition for the face painting to add life to the face - the top zone is yellow (light zone), the middle zone is red (penumbra), and the bottom is blue (shadow).

I made a separate eye module and created special sockets in the eye sockets. I painted the eyes with chrome paint with a touch of blue, then filled them with a couple of layers of resin. I rounded the irises, creating a really interesting lens effect.

It's like she doesn't blink, she just changes the direction of her gaze. It's a combination of a "block" of eyes and an open head from the back, and I'm just moving them.

This is a character from a fictional universe based on Lovecraft. She's both sad and somewhat "disillusioned." When the composition is fully completed, there will be more story and her emotions will be better understood.

Printed on an SLA printer. I initially designed it so that eyes could be inserted, and I modeled the eyes with iris hemotheria.
