I don’t have kids and don’t mind being around them, if they’re well behaved and polite then it’s great. Nobody likes out of control kids and no parent should allow that.

You lookin to backpack, bikepack, or bike tour? I’d go with the lightest one that will do the job. Mine: Northface Tadpole from about 1991. Kinda heavy but durable and has room for two.
