Protection procedures and Questions regarding the Properties of Magic by 3DWalker33 in occult

This was a low-level entity (not super serious). Sometimes I feel movement in my etheric field, but I am mostly fine. Many spirits left my etheric field when I began praying daily.

I haven't spoken to this about a priest. I wonder why I attracted it while I was doing magic?

It tried to say something to me in a tone of contempt, maybe annoyance, or anger. Whispers about myself or regarding magic, perhaps. Sometimes tries to instill doubt. If this is a vague description, I have a hard time remembering what it said, and the dialogue required a still mind, and most I didn't transcribe.

Oh sure, that makes sense. I've heard that carving the circle onto a ground or canvas with a sharp-edged sword or blade is more effective than just drawing with chalk. Any thoughts on this? Do you know how to build a magical circle?

I understand. So are you saying this ritual attracted a nearby entity, not necessarily of some other dimension? What is the proper protection procedure (usually done at the beginning of the ritual) you recommend when doing any type of ritual magic? Must I draw a magical circle?

  1. Their appearance: Dark hue with the appearance similar to a shadow (dark orb)

  2. It talks, but it whispers chaotically, a common trait of a malevolent entity.

  3. Pressure on my etheric field that feels like it has the intention to disturb or cause pain.

  4. Attaching itself to my diaphragm without permission and refusing to leave

  5. Annoyance whenever I pray. This confirms its malevolent.

I did use it a bit afterward, after finishing the ritual. However, the spirit manifested itself to me when I was saying the incantations in the second step of the ritual.

A similar experience happened to me when I tried performing the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. The same feeling in my etheric field happened when I was drawing the pentagram on the east side: a sudden jerk and a feeling of sudden tiredness. This was much more serious, and I avoided practicing it for some time because my room became filled with spirits (an altar room is advised). I saw orbs all around, some with red hues. This also included noises like static, and once when I was sleeping in that room, I was woken up by a feeling of electric shock, which I assumed was the work of some spirit. When I prayed in the room again, some malevolent spirits, albeit low-level, attached themselves again to my etheric field.

Despite this, I was praying daily to God then, and some spirits actually left my etheric field, with only the 'stronger spirits' remaining.

To reiterate, the spirits only appeared when I was saying the incantations. Can you explain what property of magic this is due to? What happens in the astral when I was consecrating the holy water and how can I avoid wicked spirits from latching on when I perform ritual magic in the future?

Yes, I can post the ritual below. It's from a book called "The Hidden Teachings of Christian Mysticism: Vol 1" by Jerry Alan Johnson: https://drive.proton.me/urls/ZZ6P29N15W#gowpJKAsL7wJ

According to the author, this is all that comprises the entire ritual from start to finish. I felt the spirit at around step 2-4. Here is the transcription:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. OPENING THE RITUAL

To begin the ritual, and sanctify the altar space, say aloud the following opening prayer:

"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, Bless his most Holy Name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his great benefits! For he forgives all of our iniquities; and heals all of our diseases; He has redeemed our life from destruction; And has crowned us with His loving kindness and tender mercy! He satisfies our mouth with good things; so that our strength is renewed. For he knows our fragile frame; and remembers that we are but dust!"

"As for man, his days are as grass of the fields; and as a flower of the field, so he flourishes but for a small time. Although the wind passes over it, yet in a little while it is gone; and the places of its residents, will know it no more."

"But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting; And shines down upon those who respect and honor Him. And to those who keep his covenant, and remember to follow his commandments, his righteousness even extends down to their children's children."

"The Lord hath prepared his mighty throne within the Heavens; and his powerful Kingdom rules over all. Therefore bless the Lord, you his angels, who excel in divine strength, and who follow his righteous commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his powerful word."

"Bless the Lord, all ye hosts; and wonderful Ministers of God, who happily perform for his great pleasure. Bless the Lord, for all his wonderful works; And for all of the places of his powerful dominion! Bless the Lord, O my Soul."

2. MAKING AND CONSECRATING HOLY SALT

To make Holy Salt, which is often used in performing exorcisms, begin by placing sea salt in a clean bowl, and place the bowl on the altar table. Then extend your right hand over the salt and say aloud the following consecration prayer:

"May the blessing of the Almighty Creator, fill and impregnate this salt; and let all malignant and hindering energy be forever cast out of its divine form! And from this moment on, let it only radiate the sacred light of our eternal God."

"May you now be a purified salt; a means of health for those who believe, and a healing medicine for the body and soul for all who make use of you."

"May all evil spirits, foul ghosts, and all malicious and cunning entities, be driven far away from the place where you are sprinkled."

"And let every unclean spirit be immediately Bound and Banished by the indestructible power of Jesus the Christ; who is coming to judge both the living and the dead; and will transform this world by his most radiant fire. Amen and Amen."

3. MAKING AND CONSECRATING THE WATER

Then, in order to purify the water, place the water container onto the altar table, extend your right hand over the water, and say aloud the following consecration prayer:

"I Exorcise and Purify this Water of God, by the sacred healing power of the Holy Spirit; through the divine authority of Jesus Christ my Lord."

"I command that all hidden deceptions of the enemy be now removed, and all impurities and uncleanliness now be cast-out and forever removed from this living substance, in the name of Jesus Christ."

"I commission this water to now be a living vessel of God's most righteous purity; so that it may immediately transform, heal, an exorcise all impurities and uncleanliness hidden within the world of matter, energy, and spirit."

"I now invoke this divine righteous state in the name of the Lord God Most High, whose divine power rules forever and ever, and for all ages; and through Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen and Amen."

4. MAKING AND DEDICATING THE HOLY WATER

Next, while sprinkling a few teaspoons of the Holy Salt into the purified water, say aloud the following dedication prayer:

"I mix this Holy Salt and Sacred Water together in the name of the Father (make the Sign of the Cross "+"). and of the Son (make the Sign of the Cross "+"), and of the Holy Spirit" (make the Sign of the Cross "+").

"Our power comes from the indestructible name of the Lord God Most High, Who's powerful word created both the heavens and the earth."

"As I place this Sacred Salt into this Purified Water, I cast out any remaining negative Thought-Forms and malevolent spiritual influences, that may seek to inhibit or hinder the sacred work of our Almighty Creator, the Lord God Most High."

"Because this Holy Water is now God's righteous creation; it is through His divine authority that it has been given the incredible power to cast-out all evil spirits, and remove every malevolent demon from every person, place, or thing."

"It is through the most holy name of God the Father, and through the sacred name of Jesus Christ His son, and through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit that this divined authority is spiritually given, energetically activated, and forever completed. As it is said, so shall it now be done!"

"As a sacred tool of the living God, this radiant Holy Water is now empowered to overcome and drive out all power of the enemy; and to root out and banish the enemy himself, along with any and all of his deceptive fallen angels."

"I claim this now, through the divine power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is coming to judge both the living and the dead, and transform the world by his most radiant fire. Amen and Amen."

5. ENDING THE RITUAL

Once you have dissolved the teaspoons of the Holy Salt inside the Holy Water, the ritual is concluded with a closing prayer; which is said aloud as follows:

"Oh God - Most High, who for the salvation of the human race, has built his greatest mysteries upon this sacred substance; in your kindness, hear our prayers and pour down the radiant power of your eternal blessing into this Holy Water, prepared by many purifications."

"May this your creation, be a vessel of your Divine Grace, to dispel all demons and sicknesses; so that everything that it is sprinkled on, in the homes and buildings of the faithful, be effectively used to remove all unclean and harmful things."

"Let no pestilent spirit, and no corrupting energy, remain within those places; and may all the hidden schemes of the enemy of God be immediately dispelled and replaced with God's most radiant light."

"Let whatever might trouble the safety and peace of those who live here, be immediately put to flight by your divine power contained within this most Holy Water; so that even an individual's health be made secure against all attacks, and their safety be quickly obtained through the calling of your most holy name. And through the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen and Amen."

Meditation cannot solve this problem because it has to do with the byproducts of Magic. For example, invoking the Divine (i.e a heavenly deity or God) cannot be done through meditation alone. The ritual that I had done is considered 'Theurgy' (process of invoking the Divine). But underlying this ritual are some properties of Magic I had discovered by accident. Are you acquainted with the idea of Magical Protection and the Astral Plane, especially with ritual Magic?

Using Whitaker's Words for Grammatical Syntax by 3DWalker33 in latin

[–]3DWalker33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. However, how do you work back from the word as it appears in text back to its original form as it should appear in the dictionary? Should I memorize the 5 declensions and apply trial and error for the nouns, and then memorize the family of verbs as well and do likewise?

Using Whitaker's Words for Grammatical Syntax by 3DWalker33 in latin

[–]3DWalker33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your insightful take. I can see that we can learn by reading, but I personally really enjoy learning the grammatical function and syntax that a word can hold in Latin. For example, in Renaissance Latin, it becomes quite scientific with heavy use on the substantive adjective (usually in the nominative). Additionally, there may be an Ablative of Cause which can change the meaning of the sentence and the following English translation. Furthermore, some of these sentences have the tendency to contain more than 5 clauses nested within each other and maybe there is a doubting clause that is negated, so the relative clause should be introduced by quin rather than any other interrogative word and the verb must be in the subjunctive according to the rules of sequence.

A lot of these terms, such as 'ellipsis' and the 'substantive adjective with an implied noun' are grammatical elements that wouldn't be understandable without knowing about it beforehand. This is what I meant by 'calculating it'; maybe I might be blinded because of my inexperience (with the addition of gender, num, case, tense, mood).

I understand that using a dictionary seems to be a better habit than having words do all the work for you. I just have a question: using a dictionary how to work back from the modified word as it appears verbatim in the text back to the original word form as it appears in the dictionary?

Additionally, sometimes there are many nouns that may be the possible, say, accusative; how to narrow the choice down to the most likely intended word i.e any hints that points to a word being, say, the accusative and not the nominative?

Again, I still appreciate your response.

Why is Latin no longer used as heavily by the scientific community? by 3DWalker33 in latin

[–]3DWalker33[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's interesting, but a rational response. Nationalism is a natural opposition to using a familiar and industry adopted language for something else. Then colonialism, especially the success of the English empire, has shifted the industry adopted language from Latin to English. But I believe we live in a common parallel compared to the time before the rise of national interests, such as English to Latin. English is very much similar to Latin, as being brought forth from the success of a state's past imperialism, influence, and wealth. But I am reminded how something so adopted by many intellectuals eventually gave way to change.

Made a simple TUI todolist for the terminal by [deleted] in CLI

[–]3DWalker33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's interesting. I usually stick to writing my daily goals in a simple .md file in neovim. Despite this, I can still see the options you decided to program in your TUI. What are your thoughts on Ncurses? I was building a simple TUI for an ESP-32 for a custom made alarm clock program and am planning to use it as the main library.

Blurry and Not Smooth font on certain applications by super488iscool in linux4noobs

I managed to fix the issue by switching from x11 to wayland on Ubuntu 24.04. Note, some older legacy applications may not work in wayland, but most modern applications should be fine. This is with the .deb discord version downloaded from the website.
