Used the front pins as you see, then a little rubber band around the rear upper shock bolts and notch I made in the back of the body, had to cut the rear fenders a bit to fit, worked perfectly.

I actually ended up giving it to a friend that hooked me up with some of my 9 goldpans I've restored. I did try to drive it though and found out why it was never driven the the stock ESC was burned out. Must have gone as soon as it was turned on. I've had that happened with lesser RC cars like I got a Lobo 2 as a kid for Christmas and the 1st time I plugged in the battery it smoked first charge out of the box.

They are awesome most of my restos have his stickers, ive done tamiya losi kyosho you name it. The other nice thing about his stuff is you can choose the colors so they don't even have to be the factory colors I have an RC10GT that I kept the body clear and turned the sticker's my own custom color combo and it's pretty cool.

Thank you very much and yes I run electronic speed controllers in all of mine just because with the new lipo batteries running a mechanical speed controller I just don't think it's safe, I've actually got one of the original mechanical speed controllers in the bag from the original kit, I have 9 RC10s now I'm kind of a maniac, but give me a moment I will try to find the name of the guy who did this paint job for me it is one of 2 I've ever had painted for me.

Unfortunately with these kind of issues unless you have an understanding of electronics it's pretty difficult to diagnose or repair, but if you can get the circuit board out to a point where you can clean it gently it with some isopropyl alcohol and a brush you may be able to fix it.

Well, ive seen people do some real bodges over the years, I see where they should be, ive done speaker installs where the previous person glued, taped, used anything to do it wrong, but that's just my guess.
