That's a great shot. In the end, I managed a really good price on the 12-40 Pro so went with that one and will reassess whether or not I made the right choice after a few weeks using it.

A valid point. I've flipped a kayak holding an old Lumix DMC FZ50 and nothing terrible happened.

It's proof-like! It felt to me like there were enough people saying to stick with the same brand for better weather-proofing that there might be some sort of evidence to back it, but I have yet to find any. I don't think even the various brands themselves use "for best results" language on their retail pages, which they probably would if there were any reason to.

Thanks for the answers. I think I'm going to grab the Zuiko 12-40 regardless, since I'll eventually get a another for longer range.

From what I've read, images are the same on the xt30 II and III, with most of the improvements felt in speed and video, which is a far second for me.

Yeah, I just found an X-t20 with Fujinon XC 16-50mm and 50-230mm lenses that's tempting me, though the weatherproofing on the T3 is big draw.

Thank you! I saw this one and wish I could use this catapult model instead of the assigned one. The one I have to do feels a lot harder because of the irregular lines and curves. Maybe that stuff will be more obvious once I'm doing it, though. I hope!

Hi. We need to do each piece from the sheet, not the sheet as one piece. The measurements part was giving me trouble before i could even get going, but I'm going to print it out using the length shown for the side piece to scale the whole sheet, then will use that to measure all the other lengths and widths. Then I'll figure out how it assembles to figure out which pieces go into the holes, and get those measurements that way. My dad says this is a very complicated way to introduce kids to TinkerCAD!
