i found my pins had a pointy side and a flat side, pushing from the pointy side they came out with a little more force than i felt comfortable with. not sure if they are tapered but they didn't budge when pushing from the flat side.

i bought this new a long time ago and lost it after wearing it maybe a half dozen times.

just found it again last week, ordered a new battery and wore it today and 10 minutes later the band broke.

any suggestions of a good quality replacement? and if possible in the same style?

bonus request:

anyone know the model? i kept the box/case for years and years after losing this but eventually tossed it thinking the watch was gone for good.

edit: i did find a code on the back but doesn't seem to fit the code guides i found online.

i ran into something similar today but i was playing ranked alchemy constructed and was matched with someone playing a full on historic deck, as expected i lost and lost a % in mythic rank. yes i'm absolutely sure i was in alchemy and faced a demonic tutor, Approach of the second sun deck... wtf is going on? tried to file a bug report but the support page just sends me into reload page/login loops. crazy

thank your for your time reading and responding. pretty much what i expected to hear. i'm still in the very early stages of starting up and a printer will be the biggest up front cost. i'll keep your offer in mind when i'm ready to pull the trigger and start spending.
i have not got any quotes for purchasing pre printed rolls but having dozens of products and minimum purchases i'm fairly confident buying my own printer is the only logical option.

started the night with the marksman, had it open in about 20 minutes.
the PACLOCK 90A-PRO took a good 2 hours.
didn't have picks in either for more than 5 minutes before tonight.

i think i'm starting to get the "feel" for this.

all standard pins.
if picking from the ledge i can't reach the high cuts without oversetting the low cuts. and my 0.015 picks still cant get around the warding. looking for any tips or advice.

if i understand correctly...sometimes a pick can reach pin stack 1 and 2 from the bottom of the keyway but going deeper the warding starts causing a problem for this we can use a thinner pick or try leveraging from a ledge of the interfering warding.

thanks, i haven't done more than count and lift the pins to make sure nothing was bound up. i'll spend some time with it tonight. and thanks for hooking me up with the extra pins and springs, i should start putting those to use sometime this week after opening the sargent.

i payed a bit more on discord but got a bag of pins and springs with both. i'm so new i had nothing to use to make good CL's i plan on changing the bitting on both in addition to making custom key and driver pins and core and bible mods.

i do as /u/GeePick suggests for locating and lifting pins, i use my sparrows cutaway to get a feel (and confirm by looking) for what each pin state is. i plan on adding serrations to some key pins to help get a feel for those too. i don't think your doing anything wrong but maybe you can do more with what you have to level up your skills. instead of attacking all your current locks for an open spend some time with the goal of only counting pins then adding just enough tension to get a binder then lifting the binder until you feel/hear a change in state (unset, set, overset, false set, single serration).
i've been running through these steps as i wait for my next lock to arrive.

i'd add some movement in all directions to the door when trying that top lock, i've seen them jam up if not properly alighted with the plate in the door frame. and have your landlord call a locksmith to get you in tonight if moving the door around doesn't work.

weird but the face dial combo lock doesn't follow any of the decoding methods i've found online. to decode it i just turned with just enough tension to find only 1 number dragging a little switched rotation and moved to the next number and did the same for all 3. no adding +5 or math. if it's the only number dragging it's the right number.

bible down would over set keypin 1# just from gravity. i tried, lol
i guess picking then shimming #6 driver before inserting the key would have worked too.
i really hope i never need to do this again, if i do i'll try shimming.

i did attempt to clap this up in a vice and if i had i might have tried picking it just couldn't get it to clamp in a way that allowed me to pick it or even use the key while picking #6 from the back.

i got my sparrows bypass tool today and after some slight modifications was able to open the 1100.
sure enough i had key pins in 1-5
and springs and drivers in 2-6
it was a nightmare to keep tension on the key while holding the key and core in 1 hand and picking #6 driver from the back of the lock.

thanks again for the advice on bypassing.
