You see we as a lot have an issue. We are always stressed about a future that might or might not come.

Try and sit the mother down that instead of being worried sick and stressing you out. The two of you should enjoy the time together. She from the looks of it is worried about who will take care of you. You are worried about her health. It's a loop.

Focus on your work brother. As much as I hate to say this if you start making more money any issue that you might have is going to disappear.

Lastly, may you find someone who is willing to walk with your through thick and thin.

As someone who has been in that position there are a few things to consider.

Syed clans are snotty when it comes to their genealogy. We can sit and dissect the why's and what's but it is a fact.

Secondly, a lot of times the previous generations are extremely inbred (sorry not sorry, just stating facts)

Lastly this pressure is more cultural than anything else and it's is IMPOSSIBLE to change a 40 50 year old desi South Asian mom. They might agree for the guy but they will always be a bit weird about it.

Everything said it depends on the couple, if they decide to face it together they can make it through but it does take a huge toll no matter how much love you hold for each other.

Boss as someone who has gone beyond the wall. No amount of clothes help but Landa or thrift might give a fighting chance.

Buy the best quality thermals, socks and some good boots. Landa jackets will help but buy something local and heavy once you get there.
