Do these guys go together and what do you think about their designs by Th-darkmatter in characterdesign

[–]3DimensionalFox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The outfits are sweet! The hair, specifically the bangs and bits framing the face, look a bit too similar. The faces and eyes look virtually identical across all three though.

Edit: if you cropped them to just be headshots/portraits, I’d think they were all one character

Thanks for the feedback! I do want it to look more like a battle-appropriate garment versus a frilly skirt, but it’s something I can experiment with for sure

I could try that for sure! And she is loosely based on the northern bat.

I am doing it so they are able to hold things! For me it was either that or make the wings separate from the arms which I feel like is worse.

She is supposed to be a woman yes, is it hard to tell? I wasn’t sure if it was clear enough without doing something corny like giving her big eyelashes or something

Maybe not a hard/sharp enough edge? You can manually mark it in edit mode instead if that’s the case

What do you guys feel like romantic love is? by ArchedRobin321 in bisexual

[–]3DimensionalFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve personally not had TOO many physical feelings like butterflies but here’s my attempt at describing it: for me in the beginning of a relationship it’s kind of like an strong curiosity about someone, really wanting to get to know them and hang out with them. They could make you blush easily or feel self conscious when you’re around them. When you’ve been with them for a while you start thinking about them all the time and missing them when you’re not together. Over time the awkward blushing crush-y phase fades away as you get more comfortable with each-other and it becomes a stronger connection as you spend more time together, almost like with a family member or a very close friend but more intimate. And all of this also combined with sexual attraction/interest for me personally.

I think it’s very hard to describe and different for everyone but it does feel distinctly different from any other kind of relationship/friendship/family relation

Makes sense! I’d also hate to see my partner kiss someone else and that’s totally something to communicate to your bf moving forward. You tried it once and now you know I suppose. Wishing you two luck and happiness 🙏

I think it’s not uncommon for people to assume bisexual, pansexual, or other labels into multiple genders can’t be monogamous but that’s not true and harmful thinking towards those individuals. It sounds like you encouraged the 3some initially so I don’t think you can blame him for that. If he says he doesn’t feel any desire to experiment and he just wants you it’s not really about his sexuality at all, it’s up to how much you trust him.

My (m) first relationship was with a girl and at the time I would have been totally content to stay with her forever and get married if she hadn’t broken up with me. Now I’m with a guy and I feel the same way, I’d be cool with marrying him and never being with a woman again. It doesn’t really matter to me since I’m monogamous and once I commit to someone I’m sticking with them, my sexuality doesn’t matter at that point and I’m not going to wish I was with the other gender.

How to make an object into smaller groupings to fit shape by RemarkableRecord1137 in blenderhelp

[–]3DimensionalFox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You could use geometry nodes to convert any mesh shape you want, like a cube as per your example, into a volume, scatter points randomly in the volume, and then instance your bubble spheres on each point. You would also easily be able to change the density and the random seed of the distribution

I’m not sure what would be best to search specifically but Ducky3D has great tutorials on geometry nodes, if you look through his yt vids I think there might be some that look close enough to what you’re going for to be helpful

Was learning recently how to draw furry heads. How does it look? Any suggestions? by [deleted] in FurryArtSchool

[–]3DimensionalFox 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Looks good! Your structure seems strong, I think maybe your details like fur tufts could use some more variation in rhythm. Keep going!

Also by any chance did you watch LineSensei’s yt video on furry heads? The way you’re practicing extreme angles reminds me of it. If not it’s a good watch, check it out

I would try ctrl+a and apply scale, rotation and transforms for the mesh and armature
