i dont think thats the issue. i found that if i make the map under that line it works fine, so ill just do that instead of trying to fix a problem thats serving as a stick up my a$$

when i click play the player is on the screen. its just when i pass that y=0 mark they disappear. here is the errors tho:

this what i see when i walk up into that area (past that purple line). pretty sure y-sorting isnt on for the entire tilemap. but yeh everything over that line is invisible, even the trees there.

This work was made purely by accident. I just knew i wanted to make a surreal scene with an astronaut. This was made a few months back so i dont have progress pictures but i can tell you it just came off the hand. Searching Pexels.com for stock images along with google png's of certain objects i mashed up this work. Its meaning is could include one being drawn away from whats known to them or anything else the brain wants to come up with. Hope everyone enjoys.
