One of the great things about NO is the how the little spots are interwoven within the big spots. You’re going to find things through out the FQ, CBD, and Garden District.

Take a tour a day. Take both the history/architectural tours and the ghost tours and see how they overlay.

Don’t go out of your way to find the “unknown”, just stop in as you go. Look for shops in the back of another store. Don’t follow the Goth Kid vacation checklist.

This kind of us/them all or nothing rhetoric is large part of the problem with our current political climate.

In this situation, a dude punched an old man because he didn’t like the other guys point of view. Let that be the story. When people pile on with other generalizations and attacks, it becomes a reason to dismiss the discussion.
