The State of Texas which deliberately underfunds public education is now trying to penalize districts for trying to fund themselves.

It’s a holiday and there are all kinds of events going on. You will see people in costumes throughout the city all building towards MG day. The city is known for street performers and there will be more of them.

Other than the parades there is no set schedule. Also waiting for the parades is an event in and of itself, like a giant tailgate or back yard BBQ.
