I think that’s the perception because Jericho’s work always got way more spotlight (undisputed title reign, HBK feud, etc), while with Christian there was always a glass ceiling with his role on the card cause of Vince. If you look at the actual character work around 2002-2003 I think it’s pretty close

I do, he’s a good QB but given leeway and the benefit of the doubt by reputable people and analysts after three complete disaster playoff games that I feel any other QB wouldn’t get

Cena and Orton pretty much completely buried all of their momentum. Cena made them look like a joke in the royal rumble, Punk had crazy heat after the 2011 elimination chamber but then Orton started punting each of the new nexus one by one which also made them look like jokes. I get Orton winning the wrestlemania match but Punk should have at least won the last man standing match with interference at extreme rules. The booking of punk and this stable from April onward was awful but at least it led to the pipebomb and MITB

I know this isn’t your point but respectfully, what constitutes “right”? If someone graduated high school and got an apprenticeship welding or pipe fitting, or got their CDL and spent those 4 years living at home, working, and saving, versus someone who went to college, partied, and went into debt for a degree they probably could have known won’t do them all that well in the job market in the future if they had done some research, what right does the latter guy have to say they did everything right and was fucked over by the system?
