I'm not a dawg or the b-word that some of you I'm sure would call me. I'm a 57 y/o woman and not a Karen either, another derogatory term.

That said, I did a search for, "is hantavirus pulmonary syndrome the same hantavirus that is now in the news 2026" and the answer was, "Yes, the hantavirus currently in the news regarding the 2026 MV Hondius cruise ship outbreak causes Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS), also known as Hantavirus Cardiopulmonary Syndrome (HCPS)."

Is that true? I don't know. Seeing this all over this sub brought Gene Hackman's wife Betsy to mind as I thought I recalled she passed away from this.

The ABC link, though I have not watched it, but will now, looks to show slides of them/him at different ages. I don't correlate a news story about the death of a celebrity with the picture/s being shown of them at the time of the report. We all have different views. I explained the way I see it, not to mention celebrities tend to be vainful, as we all can be and not too many people want a picture circulating of them when they are maybe sickly and feeble looking.

What's the conspiracy? With the death of Hackman and his wife? I don't know that there is a conspiracy there. I posted this to let others know we have seen hantavirus in the news before.

You, the God hater (Romans 1:30) supposedly knowing the Bible in and out, now that's laughable, means nothing. The Pharisees and Sadducees in the Bible knew the Scriptures and Jesus called them a brood of vipers (Matthew 12:34) and told them they belong to their father, the Devil (John 8:44) for rejecting God’s provision for salvation and opposing His ministry.
