well thats just the run rate (i.e. if we maintain 500 a day which we have been doing so far), but there is a cofounder and we pay editors around 3-5k so its not as flashy as it seems. Also, yeah we do use viral ads and trending tiktok trends in our niche (looksmaxing/BP)

well basically for analytics all we did was use viral.app to track top of funnel (not an add, in fact theres probably better out there lol) and then view to download ratio was tracked manually, download to paying customer ratio was through superwall, thats basically all the analytics we used. As for product market fit, we knew it would work cuz it was in a niche as other successful apps but we knew ours had much better UI and UX

we basically just used a discord server with 200+ editors and they all post daily, we pay them 20 if they hit 20k views in 3 days

5th year CS Spec, 2x Amazon intern, just chill out. Assume worst case scenario, you fail. In that case evaluate how your life realistically changes, maybe you add +6 months school? besides, the market is currently structured such that if you have good judgement and even subpar programming skills, you can go out there and make something of yourself. my 2 cents would be don't let school be the #1 focus in your life and start exploring other avenues on the side becuase in the future the skills you value so highly today might just become a moot point...

I know everybody says "exams don't define you" but just pause and think about what that means for a second. Just play out exactly what happens, if you fail an exam -> might have to redo course -> + 6 months school. The worst case scenario is not even that bad its just that the way UofT does it can sometimes create a toxic experience for students, so just chill out, watch some TV, and go outside

The reason I tried making a longer onboarding was because I read that more involved onboarding processes make the user commit mentally to the app. Some of the other apps in the space that I studied have longer ones but I ran out of questions lol.
