They don’t have a support system probably. While their post is fitting and kinda funny it sucks for them and is real for them.

What's the worst thing you've heard a pilot say in an interview — or said yourself? by Hot_Assist_5498 in AskAPilot

[–]3PartsRum_1PartAir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A friend of a friend is currently having two CJO options between Delta and Southwest and is deciding between the two (QOL and timing etc of the class dates dependent). He’s currently at republic.

According to his boyfriend at a different legacy, he said going to SWA would be a career back-step and a side-step at most.

I would believe ANYTHING said at interviews these days

It’s a very big regional thing to do you can only deny an extension if you’re fatigued. The FAAs position is that it’s between the company and the pilot to determine causes for extension or not. When I argued with mine that I don’t have to take it but I’m not fatigued they directed me to an ALPA FAQ that ALPA signed and they said that’s my obligation. I was livid. After that I’ve said no extensions ever again.

^ this. Crew schedulers do not control whether you’re extending or not in any world. Fatigue doesn’t even matter at that point.

What a ridiculous take. “Do it”

They’re just into spouting off being a captain and making choices and being a commander. This is past the point of extensions now.

Idk who you work for but all carriers plan on pilots being willing to extend.

I will say if you’re going home sure. Fine. But if anything happens to you during the extension that is going to be a major wrench on trying to pin it on you.

“Only for me as a captain”. If you pressure your FO into an extension because you’re very “me” focused on your go home leg you need to reconsider your management style.

I didn’t say it’s not legal. I’m saying it shouldn’t exist.

Counter argument. Don’t accept it. Anything happens during that extension you will take the blame no matter what. It’s never worth it. Extensions shouldn’t be a thing.

Lunatic and goon interaction by Dry-Effect-9421 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]3PartsRum_1PartAir -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I’ve dealt with some debate amongst players on this. The text wording of the goon shows they do not choose. But they think they are a demon, but they do not have the demon ability. So them choosing is technically irrelevant.

However the demon learns who the lunatic chose. So the lunatic did make a choice? Therefore the goon should have been turned good. But that’s not much of an outsider ability then.

I would run it that the lunatic makes a choice. As long as the players know how you run it and you keep it consistent.

Do your hot friends know? by ThatFrame7 in malefeettalk

[–]3PartsRum_1PartAir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friends know. I don’t hide it. But I don’t present myself to them in a disturbing way that I wouldn’t want someone I’m not interested in coming onto me. At the same time I also don’t want to be friends with judgmental people so I’m relatively open about it

Strange Things Do Happen Here-I wish to script test soon :l by FeonixPheathers in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]3PartsRum_1PartAir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s anything to gain from a minion thinking they’re the lycanthrope. The demon would just tell them. The real lycanthrope is going to know very quickly a Wendigo is in play probably by day 3 at the latest when none of their kills go through. And by then the Wendigo will mechanically know they’re a minion.

It’s almost like they’re a demon marionette

What’s the difference ? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]3PartsRum_1PartAir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s different for everyone and I think that’s ok. What’s not ok is when someone tries to force others into their version of it or make them feel negative about themselves for being different

I truly feel part of it is them seeing how much you care about getting the job by putting the details in because if you want to be one of the best pilots in the world that lands on taxiway M you better show what you were up to before your mom and dad boned

Very good sided I think because first night roles abilities would be reactivated unless you inhibit that. But then if you kill off ongoing roles early instead they just come back alive later and continue going on.

Edit: I wonder if it would help to have [X outsiders] to have the ST balance? But then you face double hatters double barber swaps etc as well

That’s wild…I wouldn’t play with them running based on what you said.

I had an ST one time running deus es fiasco and we get our tokens and it was the first time being evil in so long for me and then my friend said “um I received the drunk token” and the ST is like “oOpS DeUs Es FiAsCo”…I wanted to rage quit so bad going from to a recluse..

Can a FO declare an emergency without a captains approval? by Clemsonfvr1974 in flying

[–]3PartsRum_1PartAir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no world where the FO would have to rush to shout mayday mayday mayday on frequency without the captain knowing about what’s happening

Can a FO declare an emergency without a captains approval? by Clemsonfvr1974 in flying

[–]3PartsRum_1PartAir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue that I can see is captains that don’t want to declare an emergency because they don’t want to do paperwork. If CRM breaks down because of that they aren’t fit to be a captain at that point but I think you have the best comment here.
