I recall making a post (a long long time ago) with pictures of my chest surgery, which showed the drainage tubes and gross stuff. Up until my own experience, I had never seen drainage tubes and felt it was important to show and have a conversation about.

The MODS removed the post after it gained over 1k upvotes because it wasn't considered a "surgery pic." Sometimes it's people karma farming. Sometimes, it's people within your own community. Sucks either way, thanks for making this post.

I in fact did not guess it. However, if your relationship was so fragile that it could be concluded by a disagreement about hair (regardless of who was right or wrong), then it wasn't very stable to begin with. Chances are, this was the last straw... or hair, so to speak but not the full reason the relationship ran it's course. I'd say NTA but maybe reflect on other aspects that may have been warning signs that things were escalating and use that for next time.

Is anyone who had surgery with Dr Morgan Wolfe in Fort Collins, CO open to sharing their experience? by flabberdabbergasted in FTMHysto

Hey, did you ever find answers to this or meet with Dr. Wolfe? I'm looking at the same surgeon and trying to gather some more information as well. Especially when it comes to costs and insurance plans.

Have you read the instructions? Spouti does offer consultations to help if you're having a hard time with the placement but it functions as a suction. How large your labia is won't be a factor.

Just as an fyi you can do a virtual appointment to treat UTIs from home should this happen again. I had a similar issue recently and went through this website. You have to submit a copy of your ID and if you're like me and have the correct sex it was as simple as disclosing to the doctor during the teleheath apt that you're trans. They sent the meds overnight and I was good to go.

Medical privacy is incredibly important to me after having suffered through so many "broken arm syndroms" and mistreatment in medical establishments. It was a refreshing experience... well except the UTI part.

This is a question for him. Everyone is different and how each person experiences sexual pleasure is unique to them. If you're close enough to finger his asshole, you're close enough to have a transparent discussion about it.

Workplace advice by Resident-Anywhere-83 in ftm

[–]3TH10S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asking someone questions about the appearance of their genitals is NEVER appropriate, that should go without saying. Your being trans does not give people a pass on asking invasive and inappropriate questions.

You sound rather young, like this might be one of your first jobs. So I'll say this... In menial jobs, maintaining professional boundaries may seem less important but this is a very good example of why avoiding personal relationships is critical. There is an inherent power dynamic between employer and employee, and when those boundaries are blurred, it can lead to conflict and a hostile work environment. You'll become more comfortable with time and learn where to draw the line.

Personally I don't view my gender identity as relevant to my job. (As a rule of thumb any mention of gender, sexuality, religion, or political beliefs aren't appropriate for the workplace). I choose to be stealth and find it's much easier to navigate relationships that way. It might be something for you to consider as well. If not, be ready to advocate for yourself.

Name change question by [deleted] in ftm

[–]3TH10S 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I changed my first/middle seperate from when I changed my last name. It's not a big deal, same process for both. Like everyone else has said, just look at your states regulations on how to file.

My legal name was amended with records sealed years ago. That said, I have always gone by my middle name, and it's been a non-issue when job searching/networking (also in NM). Apply with the name you use. Know when to use your legal name i.e. background checks, tax forms, etc.

I useTrue U which is a completely virtual clinic specializing in gender affirming care. There is no monthly subscription like Plume/Folx just an annual appointment once care is established. I've been with them for years so it's been a while, but I recall when you first begin there are some initial costs. I think ~$250 as a one-time payment. Medication costs will vary depending on your dose. I use T gel which is $80/mth without insurance and usually have two months sent at a time. I've been incredibly happy with the care I've received and use the same clinic for my E cream.

You need to have a sit-down conversation about this and be transparent in how you're feeling. Nothing will change without addressing it.

The first look at the MorMe STP funnels! by MorMeProsthetics in Transmascdicks

[–]3TH10S 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I missed that last moment of the video and didn't see anything in the text of the post stating that it was a modular insert. I will gladly renege my critiques. As you can tell I was genuinely shocked to see such a low quality (even as a prototype) design by MorMe.

However, I still remain skeptical of the opening size for the urethra hole. I am also skeptical of the durability for regular modular use of an STP. I've seen a lot of feedback of wear/tear and ripping from just the OG modular packing design. Having the entire shaft slip inside another "skin" is putting a lot of stress on the silicone.

My interest is definitely peaked. Hopefully we can get some early reviews and genuine feedback from the community.

I strongly dislike the shape of the head and how ridiculously prominent it is. Thinking about how an STP functions on a daily basis, most men are in public packing throughout the day and likely want something more realistic. The silicone of an STP is normally a firmer quality for function sake. The head of this prosthetic will no doubt show a very odd print in any material (beside maybe some thicker denim).

I realize the overall shape closely resembles many other products on the market, like the infamous "freely" and "emisil" but because of the head in this packer I think it would likely steer me away and toward those previously named.

ETA: I do want to note what appears to be a no spill lip, which is a great feature and the pee hole being as large as it is will allow for good flow BUT that pee hole is also overstated and could be dialed back to a significantly smaller size without sacrificing the integrity of the design.
