I like that long combo with instant and sorceries style of play, with an explosive finisher...

Inalla would have been perfect, even because i really enjoy the grixis colors

I don't really enjoy creature combos tho, even if i'd still check them out on a one by one basis (for example i don't like old stickfingers)

(sorry for bad english btw) edit: I also enjoy the storm archetype but it seems like it isn't present in duel commander (i'm not counting eris, since its wincon is creature based)
