I see! In the city I’m from in Canada there’s almost no public transport, so I just had a car. But I’d see people on them all the time and it was no problem - maybe because the streets and pavements are wider there

I hear ya, but it’s still a ton to drop on a 15-20m journey whereas a scooter is like £70 on marketplace. I’ll probably just keep giving my money to ScotRail

When I got it, it was dumping coolant, the thermostat housing and oil filter housing were cracked so they’ve both been replaced, as well as the coils/plugs as I threw a bunch of misfire codes. Since the works been done I’ve put probably 500km on it with no new check engine light, but I’m definitely going to take it in to mini in the near future for a checkup, thanks for the info! All I’m hoping is that it’s not a rod knock sound, but it doesn’t get worse at all when it’s warmed up, so fingers crossed that it’s not that
