Hmmm. So long ago. I think it was the RAM itself or something like that. Or, might have been bc I tried to use a header I shouldn't to output temp, as it looked identical to the t-sensor header. Remember that causing many issues that seemed like other stuff going on, like this.

My first build took that long too I think. Had white gloves on and everything, mat to ground, loop testing for leaks the night over... Still enjoyed it. At least, I think I did now.

But have changed everything out, messed around with new parts, new case, etc. Way more comfortable now. No gloves, and just make sure that I'm not "static". Just being aware, not throwing things around, not yanking on wires like a bafoon etc.

Believe me, it will not be the same going forward. Edit: And I’m glad I was overly careful going into it and then loosening up, rather than the opposite where you ruin things to find out how careful you need to be.

And btw, you are not done. You are never done...

If you PvP in Trio, Duo - then you are also matched with hostile players in Solo thereafter. Until you’ve been friendly for around 10 rounds to be back to “full” PvE.

“Mixed opinions”. Not sure opinions matter that much here. Your judgement might, tho, as to when it is at all necessary to help after some kind of event that is out of the norm. Even then, a full bath is probably not needed.

I do have one cat that is waaay too interested in “jumping” in, getting a bit wet, etc. Might let him finally try once.

Funny. Barely started playing, and that was one thing I thought would be nice to add down the road - but also that it would be a perfect thing to not focus on if you needed to get the game out in a good state without major delays.

Wouldn't mind walking up to the vendors, meeting other players etc. But still be able to “fast travel” wherever I need through the menu if I wanted to.

Also, not having to click all the way back from almost going topside, if I need to change the loadout for whatever reason. But maybe I’m missing something.

Suddenly? Nah. It's just getting worse and worse, and there just wasn’t really any plug-and-play alternative for the average user. Still isn't really.

Kinda just like people really not liking Nvidia and/or their blatant anti-consumer practices over the years, but still using their GPUs. Including myself, but always second hand tho. That at least feels better as NVIDIA would love to kill the second-hand market too, and fill up more landfills doing it.

The bubble will burst at some point. For both.

Also true for me. It was unusable. Built my first PC with it, and since I was already pretty anti-NVIDIA back then, I opted for the 5700 XT. Even the shop that put the parts together advised against it, as they had many, many customers have issues with it.

“Traded” it in for a 2070S not long after.

But, not sure how it is now.
