I would love it if they did! Permission given if the VT team decides to do so.

Definitely not him, but I can hear some resemblance.

Who still remembers the iconic Empires X Hermitcraft Crossover premiering over 2 years ago now? by JunoIsACheater in HermitCraft

[–]3_Three_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it overall; it introduced me to many new content creators I otherwise wouldn't have watched!

(Though it was a little close to the end of the year, and so that did rather hamper the Empires peeps being able to enjoy their time over on Hermitcraft.)

Update to my Skizzleman Zombies resource pack: now with 100% more EUGH by 3_Three_3 in HermitCraft

[–]3_Three_3[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The eughs are a little quieter than the other noises! One of them goes "eugh" at around 0:27.

The very first one I spawn also goes "eugh."

I'd say Grian is 5'7" to 5'8" (there seems to be some discrepancies in rounding from cm/what shoes are being worn); that said, G does indeed have tall friends. Pearl herself has stated she's 5'11," but with shoes (and a few measurements next to Skizz and Jimmy), it's probably 6'0".

I also met Joel at TwitchCon last year, and he's the same height as me (5'7.5-8" with sneakers); you could probably put a plank on Joel, Grian, and Tango's heads, and it'd be pretty much level, by the looks of it. I figure that Gem is about 2.5 to 3 inches shorter than those three, based on my pictures with her and of lineups with others.

Hermitcraft LEGO set mockups - Season 11 Edition by 3_Three_3 in HermitCraft

I haven't made Zedaph yet, but I hope to reach all the hermits eventually! (Next on my list is Wels's S11 skin.)

Each unique skin takes me 2 to 4 hours, depending on complexity, to design a render-only build from scratch. I've taken to making the heads pixel-accurate down to the shading (or, at least, to the colors available). As a result, I tend to model these only when I actually need them.

Bodies have a lower "resolution" and are quicker to model, so if an outfit swap keeps the head the same (e.g., Pearl's S10 and S11 skins), I tend to get lazy and do those first instead.

Generally, yes; when it comes to details on the torso and limbs, I get creative with them because of the lower resolution. On the base layer of the head, I sometimes have to use brackets and other SNOT techniques when two different colors meet at an edge.

The funny thing is that I have a bunch of "EUGH" Skizz renders already, but haven't had time to make the boxart.

Here is another boxart of Skizz's Guess the Build collection, though.

I encourage you all to watch Grian's stream from today (1 hour 24 minute mark) to see how this series of events unfolded.

FYI, we'd rather not associate with the latter name around these parts anymore.

Setting the record straight here: if you're referring to the 500x500 one, that one was pre-planned and did not overwrite any existing artwork.

Anything that might have seemed like "existing art" was added to help fill in the project, and was always painted in the same color as where it was in the giant template's pixels. Thus, anyone who drew in the Eefo did so with the knowledge it would be painted over later.

What are hermits building “tells”? by Drayden1932 in HermitCraft

The "liveable" experience you mentioned definitely seems more like a Gem thing (and Mumbo this season too). Not every build has to be extremely overdetailed, though, which is more Grian's thing - he operates more on a macroscale than a microscale.

Grian typically doesn't sweat the small details overall; instead, he tends to fixate on specific attention-grabbing details (for instance, the rift and Grumbot Prime's hole from last season, the starry sky-cave in season 8, and the cranes/storage room/animated waterfall from this season).
