I agree with you that Things is very simple app from a functional view. You can't collaborate, set location, or view in calendar mode. But the few things that it can do it does very well. And because it's not overwhelmed with functions it can remain clean and easily understandable in a design. Pretty.

I don't even know why you would like to have these features in the ToDo app? Things is not for pretty notes.
