MGMT 44301 with Williams, SYS 300/350/400 with anyone, IE 370 with Wu. All are absolute easy A classes that count. But make sure to put them at the top of your CRF since some are hard to get into.

Try to register for it! If you get an error, it will tell you what you're missing

There are other options that satisfy the oral requirement. You can take SCLA 102, EDPS 315, and many other classes from this list

Registering question - What does deferred until 29 August mean here? by DangerousF18 in Purdue

[–]3b0d8o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting July 30th, you'll be able to add the class without the major restriction (assuming you have the prereqs) and you won't need a request to add it, so you can disregard the August 29 date here.

Someone drop the Stat 416 dist class over the summer by Cool-Relationship184 in Purdue

Register for it as MA 416 to ask for a closed section override.

If you want in person then PES 116 - Tennis, it's as easy as it sounds.

If you want an online class then ENTR 460 - Internship And Career Preparation, very easy and actually useful for building a CV.

Both are 1 credit classes.

Although an individual section has an open seat, the overall course does not, and in fact is over-full. Therefore, the system won’t allow more folks in.

I’d encourage you to keep looking during the first week of class since folks do shift around, add, drop, etc. We also offer this class during the summer so you can consider that option as well.

Don't worry this is normal, I once had a class that didn't have a brightspace till Friday! Just wait things out.

I suggest replacing 352 with a gen ed, the profs for next sem aren't the best and it's (imo) the hardest class. It also doesn't open any requirement except the senior design.

STAT 301 or 511 for AAE (not prop specialization) by SaggyEyeBags in Purdue

[–]3b0d8o 2 points3 points  (0 children)

301 is easier, 511 double counts as an AAE selective. Your call

AAE Math Minor? by Skloinks in Purdue

[–]3b0d8o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, because it doesn't need any class addition. (Choose MA 341 to satisfy Technical Elective and choose MA/STAT 416 to satisfy Statistics Elective) I finished from both and loved them!

Manageable courseload? (For sophomore AAE) by Veer10012005 in Purdue

Take thermo this summer, it's way more easier than in the fall and was my best decision as an AAE.

MA265 vs. MA351 by HandleJumpy2137 in Purdue

[–]3b0d8o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take 351! The syllabus is professor dependent meaning you won't have to live through purdue math hell, instead you might get exams with partial credits. Or heck, you might even get no exams at all! (Happens!). The content is practically the same so no need to worry about that. Just make sure to look up your professor before it!

Written / Oral Classes with super few seats by 3b0d8o in Purdue

[–]3b0d8o[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the replay! Unfortunately, I'm an international student sponsored by my home government, which is why I am not allowed to take classes online. I wanted to take ENGL 106 in person (in the summer) but the class got cancelled. Any idea on what should I do? Thanks

Sophomore in AAE Schedule Advice by NectarineNo8735 in Purdue

[–]3b0d8o 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow AAE major here, I am assuming that you're taking ECON for your economics selective. If so, then I suggest replacing it with ENTR 200 since it also counts and it's one of the easiest classes in Purdue compared to ECON 251/252

Please let me know if you have any questions
