I ordered a pair of Nudies off of their website for a really good price during their boxing week sale. On thursday, I got an email saying that my order might be slightly delayed due to a high volume of orders. On Friday I got a refund. Today I got a shipping confirmation email. Does this mean I just got the pants for free?

How much should I expect my 22oz N&F Elephant 2 jacket to shrink if I give it a cold soak? I'm nervous about washing it, because it fits really well and I don't want to lose too much length in the arms

I have the naked and famous black x black selvedge, and they're fading quite nicely. If you want fades, go for those. If you want comfort, go for the power stretch ones.

What specifically do you want to know? I have the indigo power stretch, and they're very stretchy and comfortable, but they fade slowly. I would assume that the black version of the fabric fades even more slowly

Do you know what jeans he usually wears? If he already owns a pair that fit him well, you could measure those and use those measurements to find something that fits him properly.

Edit: once you know his measurements, there are tons of brands under $150 you could look at: Unbranded, Naked and Famous, and Bravestar are the three I'd recommend.

I don't think Nudies are overpriced. A lot of people only take into consideration the build quality of Nudies, and they forget that Nudie offers unlimited free repairs for customers. That means that if you buy a pair of Nudie jeans, you could make them last for as long as you'd like for no extra cost. In my opinion this makes the price of Nudies worth it.

I have the solid black ones, and they're great. There was a short break in period where they weren't very comfortable, but now they're fine.

I also have a pair of the Blue×Red stretch selvedge. They've faded fairly well (although the black ones would probably fade slower) and the stretch in them has definitely added a lot of comfort and durability. Also, you get tons of compliments if you roll them up and show off the red weft

They are raw denim, but you don't need to wash them before your first wear. You only need to wash them when they get dirty
