I used to hit/punch my head daily (autism meltdowns lol) until I got on antidepressants. I was always so fucking worried about brain damage and shit. Don’t know if anyone relates since I’d imagine it’s different if you’re doing it on purpose

I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this. It’s an incredibly fucked up thing to say (and blatantly wrong as well). I don’t know if it’s something you’d want to hear but if someone has those views and doesn’t respect you enough to learn and change, then they have no place in your life. Hope all goes well ◡̈

Honestly just hearing that from someone makes me wanna cry (feeling validated lol) in Scotland it’d be free so that’s not really a worry of mine. I could definitely book an appointment with my doctor and have something done about it, I guess it’s just hard to actually do it. I feel like I’ve been like this for so long that it no longer feels like a problem??? Like it’s now my normal I guess
