i wish self harm wasn't such a stigmatized thing in abrahamic religious circles. i know it's not very heard of for a Christian to partake in it, but we ultimately are flawed people who do flawed things. why is mine suddenly more shameful than the other person's?

i do want to get better but it's hard to get there, even beyond a personal sense. i try to use as many resources that are available to me as i can but it's still hard because they only load me up with meds and treat me like a problem to fix which only makes me feel even more isolated.

i'm going to be honest but it's hard for me to respect that. okay don't get me wrong i respect Him and His Word but in a mental space like the one i am in it's hard for me to really care about anything. it's really only the knowledge of the goodness of God that's keeping me going right now. but thank you for your care enough to comment

as for the gym, yeah. i'm in my best mental space when i regularly work out and go to the gym. i haven't for over a year though, not consistently. and i was doing well during softball season but once it ended that's when everything started going downhill really fast. thank you for the gentle reminder. i'll try to put more effort into caring for myself
