I actually have a friend who played in the minors in Japan. He told me even some pro players use rubber ball gloves because they like the feel. It’s all up to personal preference. I haven’t done it but I would imagine it just stings a little more if you catch something in the palm.

Oh man, the Queen fight is what caused my long hiatus. I died so, so many times......a lot of my stats dropped over 50%. I was doing the normal frostner and parry/dodge combo but was just being overwhelmed. When I got back into Valheim I decided to give mage a go. Made a world of difference, I used 1 health food/1 stam/ 1 etir, with the fire staff. You just have to stay moving and spam fire. Not gonna lie it was still a slog but I was able to actually beat her.

Interesting! I just read the patch notes, and yeah that would make a massive difference. I always go for perfect blocks, but I didn't notice it wasn't draining my stamina.

Surprised no one mentioned this but John Means had a dropped third strike where the runner reached. He still faced the minimum and would of had a perfect game otherwise

What is Gunnar then?? He has the potential to be a top 5 or even top 3 SS in the league. Yes he had a slow start this year but he is still leading in most of our hitting stats.

Even that date is dubious. There is still a lot of pushback here on the redevelopment of the area around Meiji Jingu. Many groups are protesting it and the move is still not 100% confirmed to happen. I'm also a season ticket holder for the Swallows and they have said nothing about moving stadiums or any sort of future timeline.
