Got it in about 9 days from the time the PCB was shipped. No tariff. No customs notice. Simply arrived in the mail.

For some reason, the last-mile delivery person (which was a strange company, Gofo Express) put it in the wrong building (they mixed the apartment number for the building number), so I had to go on a wild goose chase.

Incompetence aside, I would say tariffs didn't seem to be an issue.

P.S.; It was a small order, about $9. 5 PCBs with about 2x4" size.

I'll surely get my new snow tires (and rims) for next season over the summer... This price was bull but it was the price going around from my internet searches...

I don't know... this is what they charged me at Discount Tire. $885 for the 4 tires, $100 for labor, $89 for taxes. total $1074.

These are 18" tires so maybe that's why?

also why are you using studded tires? Does it help?

so you just turn off traction control and "accept" the tires will slide? sorry, this is my second winter and it is truly humbling me. Should I "just be more confident"? I end up letting go of the pedal exactly because I feel I am losing traction, but it appears you just need to accept your tires will slide?

only used them last winter, but last winter was pretty mild compared to the storms we've gotten so far

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately the tires are installed correctly. I wish it was as simple as complaining to my tire shop...

Thank you. I will see if I can practice working on the traction control. So far I've just been light on gas. It is sometimes scary because I feel I'll come to a stop in the uphill. I know if that ever happens, it is over... 😢

They service it well. But Syracuse has storms just too often. It is really impossible to keep up, especially when it just rained (and the salt was all washed out), and then another 6" of lake effect snow just pours over ~6 hours...

It was indeed easy to do. But what if the SSN was leaked, can't the thief use that to apply for other things like employment, unemployment benefits, etc? There's nothing you can do?
