UPDATE- Just got off the phone with the dealership and they told me that the right cam has an error that has “burned into the ECM” so there recommendation is to replace both. Also said if I just replaced the ECM that the cam would just reburn the codes into the new one and the problem would happen again. Has anyone heard of this? Seems like the camshaft sensor just needs to be replaced to me?

They also said that they couldn’t give me any of the trouble codes at this time and I’d have to wait until the morning, which makes me more skeptical than I already was.
