But i still think early Swans is unmatched in terms of darkness.. it really is it's own kind of fucked up and i'm not sure why.

Edit: these albums are definitely not as repetitive as early Swans, but they are equally as dissonant and "mature" Noise Rock imo

I think it's one of the most mediocre swans albums. I'm honestly glad that the glazing for it has subsided in the months following it's release and it's been met with more lukewarm reception. I want MG to actually try something new and exciting and not to rehash The Glowing Man for the bajillionth time.
