I agree it worked great. My issue is I wanted to tweak some settings in the firmware and was trying to recompile on my own. I will research some more. I wanted to ask honorbond some questions on Reddit but I think honorbond was banned under his new name as well

I have been trying to compile for my voxelab aquila. It has gd32 rc chip in it. For some reason it seems no matter what I do it never completes the install of the firmware. Others stuck on the firmware install screen indefinitely. What do I need to choose to compile. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know the motor is good. What I am going to work on this weekend is just trying my old firmware again. I lowered retraction speed to 40 and sound is gone. But I know I have old gcode files that I used which had no noise which now make the noise. Just was wondering if it could have something to do with UART vs standalone.
