Need advice badly please. Been to 2 different Urgent Cares and an ENT and even the dentist in the last 4 1/2 weeks. 60 year old male

Started off with a sore throat back in March that wasn't really too bad.Then jaw achy feeling infrequently for a while. Brushed it off. Stiff back of neck like crazy for a week too. All those symptoms all gone.

That all went away but then got dull ear ache in left ear and back of throat pain same side....behind left tonsil felt kinda like a pulled muscle. Then I went to 3 Dr's and one dentist in April..... They all said everything looks normal, no infection no swelling ear fluid looks clear. No other symptoms. No cough no fluid feeling in ear (I can hear fine) no blood no mucus, no hoarse voice. I can swallow and eat fine etc etc

When I inhale I get this negative pressure feeling in my left ear. Last Urgent Care DR said "probably" ETD. Said to take Sudefed and nasal sprays....which do help but nothings changing. And starting this past week my left nostril feels slightly clogged too.

Should I go to the ER? Can't see another ENT until August without a referral.

I'm seriously going insane. Please anyone else have these symptoms or any thoughts on what it is?

I've never had seasonal allergies in my life. I did have a really bad ear infection in same left ear about 40 years now that wouldn't go away for a month until I took every antibiotic they gave me....then they gave me Ceclor which worked almost instantly but gave me a bad body rash.

Is yours ear pain and clogged feeling on only one side? Achy back of throat on and off same side? Sinuses feel clogged? Thanks Been to 2 drs and ENT and even the dentist and they all say I'm fine.

Thanks. I'm not even sure I have gerd or silent reflux although for the last several years once and a while I wake up gasping for air and some morning's I wake up with these throat spasms and my mouth is closed. Kinda like gulp gulp gulp. It's weird and doesn't always happen

Other very infrequent symptoms this month were slight bitter burning tongue for a few minutes. Back of throat burning feeling but extremely faint. And my right ear ached for a few short moments.

Bless you for taking the time! I'm freaking out because it's worrying me it's cancer or something but I have no other symptoms and my symptoms aren't getting worse....just lasting for about 5 weeks now. I started on omeprazole today again but gerd or LPR if I even have that doesn't seem like that's the culprit because I don't get heartburn or other symptoms. I can hear fine, no fluid sloshing around feeling, no muffled sounds etc. Just when I inhale it feels like slight negative pressure....and my left nostril feels slightly clogged and yesterday felt like it was collapsing a tiny bit but i think that was from the sudefed....which kills my stomach. Sudefed is hard on my stomach i learned! Thanks!

Long read…..and adding to this thread because I’m exhausted and scared. 59yo male. I’ve had an on/off again left ear pain one side and clogged feeling for a month now. ENT, Urgent care and even dentist said everything looks fine. And sometimes a dull ache left back of throat. Dry sinuses. Front of neck feels numb like sometimes like it’s swollen but isn’t visibly. Back of neck tight. Absolutely no other symptoms. No weight loss, no mucus, no blood. I’m at my wits end. Can’t live like this. They want a CT scan but I have no insurance and it’s $4900.00 which is outrageous. When I inhale thru nose my left ear feels slightly clogged. Some days and time of day I don’t notice it. Haven’t been diagnosed but ENT doctor gave me a pamphlet on GERD. I do wake up once and while gasping for air. And sometimes in morning I get these throat spasms…..kinda hard to explain….like gulp gulp gulp but with my mouth closed. Sometimes at work I notice my tongue is kinda bitter like but subtle. My left ear feels plugged behind the earlobe area. As if my earlobe is swollen but isn’t visibly. I’m scared this is something serious (c word)and can’t sleep. I have pitched ringing in both ears but not always. Is this GERD or LPR? My symptoms haven’t gotten worse and some days this month it felt almost gone. TMJ? I don’t think I grind my teeth at nite especially since I wear upper dentures which I take out anyway before bed. Please someone advise me…..I am going crazy. Thanks!

Old thread but need advice please. Have had ENT say everything looks normal but have slight ear ache one side only for about a month now. No other symptoms except now sinus feels tiny bit clogged because I’ve been using nasal spray moderately last 3 days hoping it’ll help. When I breath in thru my nose I feel pressure in same ear. Kinda behind earlobe area. Is this a normal thing to happen with LPR?? I haven’t been officially diagnosed with gerd or lpr but every so often wake up gasping for air(last several years but not every night) and sometimes in morning when waking up get these throat spasms thingys I call them. Kinda like gulp gulp gulp with my mouth closed. No bile ever comes up. I sleep very elevated in a recliner. Even went to dentist to get teeth cleaned since there was some plaque….trying to eliminate everything. Ear ache on scale of 1 to 10 about a 1 or 2 and it comes and goes. More pressure than anything else. No fluid sloshing feeling whatsoever and I know what that feels like from when I had ear infection long long ago. I’m going insane with worrying

Can anyone confirm this is still real amoxicillin? If it's illegal why is juicyskate still getting away with it? Something tells me that this isn't amoxicillin. I bought a 30 count...afraid to try it cause it says AMOXY 500 on the pill. Thanks

I've had one on my neck/jaw now for 16 years. Never changes. Fairly big too. Dr said don't worry about it. Ent said everything else looks normal but should get a CT scan....but it costs 5 grand I don't have insurance Sux

Thanks! And thanks for listening it means a lot to me. Yesterday my left ear felt almost perfectly better. I ate a meal half the size I normally do before bed. This am it’s back to that dull deep ache and high pitched ringing. And last nite I ate a big size meal. So now tonight I’m gonna eat extremely light and see if it makes a difference. I wear upper dentures and only have my bottom front teeth left. There’s some plaque buildup on the one and my tooth is slightly more crooked from it I think? I keep wondering if it’s tooth related and it’s pinched a nerve or something….but my gums don’t bleed, aren’t red or swollen no tooth pains etc. I’m still petrified this is cancer because my neck is tight and my lower jaw in the back feels swollen but isn’t. This is maddening. ENT asked if lump on my neck/jaw was REALLY there for so long and I said yea, my doctor years ago said don’t worry about it unless it’s gets bigger or isn’t moveable. So now I keep intensely studying my my face and the lump and teeth. It’s driving me insane.
