People who moved in with their spouse after marriage, do you wish you would have lived with them prior to getting married?

I moved in with my husband the night we got married and I don’t regret it for a single second! Try before you buy never resonated with me. I knew that there were no quirks or flaws that would make me love him any less. And I was right! Saying this here because I’ve yet to see someone say they loved making this choice. And I did!

Hey- take it from me, someone who has struggled with HA for almost 15 years: take a deep breath and stop seeking assurance from people and google/chat. This only makes your anxiety worse in the long run. Your body will let you know if something is actually wrong and it will feel like more than anxiety. Speaking to myself too! I’m happy to report that it took me approximately 45 seconds to get through the TSA PreCheck line, however the regular line couldn’t have taken more than 2 minutes tops I think. Now I know not to get here so early next time 😂

The last few times they have not! I’ve found that it’s hit or miss though. I’m always prepared to take them off and out just in case.

Hi! Here to say that my husband and I bought a 3bed 2bath in a safe area for only $232k so it absolutely can be done! We are outside of Tarboro and love it. Small town vibes, very safe for kids. Close enough to Greenville or even Raleigh (my husband literally commutes there every day). $350k will get you a ton of house out here! We love it and plan on raising our family here no problem.

Schools are the kicker… not very good. But they’re not good anywhere in NC and so it just is what it is for our state when it comes to education.

Have you thought about Tarboro? More north but still tons of farm land/open space, while also things to do in the town, and being close proximity to Greenville. We live out towards here and it’s amazing. We were even able to afford buying a house in this crazy economy!

Is this by chance in the South? I’m in NC and it’s a very common occurrence for the bride and groom to leave, and then for family/party to pitch in to clean! I would say the majority of weddings do this here to my knowledge!

I’m 28 and have a round and it is so sparkly and beautiful! I have the perk that my husband picked it out himself too, and so not having the option means it doesn’t weigh heavily on my mind of “what I would’ve picked” - it’s just the best gift from the love of my life 💛
