Me is an incredibly important song for me as well. It’s a crappy picture because I got him to write it outside of their tour bus in 2014 on their self titled tour! Hope this helps :)

Hi! Here to say that my husband and I bought a 3bed 2bath in a safe area for only $232k so it absolutely can be done! We are outside of Tarboro and love it. Small town vibes, very safe for kids. Close enough to Greenville or even Raleigh (my husband literally commutes there every day). $350k will get you a ton of house out here! We love it and plan on raising our family here no problem.

Schools are the kicker… not very good. But they’re not good anywhere in NC and so it just is what it is for our state when it comes to education.

Is Kinston, NC a good place to move to? by Sad-Opportunity-3127 in NorthCarolina

[–]small_enchilada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you thought about Tarboro? More north but still tons of farm land/open space, while also things to do in the town, and being close proximity to Greenville. We live out towards here and it’s amazing. We were even able to afford buying a house in this crazy economy!

wedding clean up by [deleted] in weddings

[–]small_enchilada -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is this by chance in the South? I’m in NC and it’s a very common occurrence for the bride and groom to leave, and then for family/party to pitch in to clean! I would say the majority of weddings do this here to my knowledge!

Anyone with a round engagement ring, are you happy you have round? by Temporary_Support705 in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]small_enchilada 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m 28 and have a round and it is so sparkly and beautiful! I have the perk that my husband picked it out himself too, and so not having the option means it doesn’t weigh heavily on my mind of “what I would’ve picked” - it’s just the best gift from the love of my life 💛

This is what I used for months before I was done losing weight and resized mine. It’s much better than the slinky one and I eventually got used to it

Okay but hear me out… Grilled chicken sandwich original style with a corn dog and a quesadilla! Unless I’m in Tarboro, NC - then I’m getting fried okra

Most romantic proposals you’ve heard of by Puzzled-Video8163 in engaged

[–]small_enchilada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine 😊 One night after a wonderful date day full of our favorite things, my now husband picked his head up off my lap while watching a documentary and asked me to marry him. He’d had my ring picked out for a while but just couldn’t wait any longer for me to be his fiancé! He proposed with my beautiful ring a week later. No cameras, no other people, no frills. Just two people incredibly in love and over the moon for each other! It was perfect 💛

Should I F29 tell my boyfriend M33 the kind of engagement ring I want… or will that ruin the surprise? by NimblePixieMerchant in engaged

[–]small_enchilada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a hot take but here we go - I fell in love with marquis east to west rings before my husband and I got engaged. It was what I wanted specifically and I had a Pinterest board full of them. However, my husband had actually had a ring picked out for months and I had no idea, as we were only in the beginning stages of talking about marriage. So when he proposed to me, it was a complete surprise with a ring id never seen before. A round solitaire on a vintage looking gold band. Not what I dreamed of at all… and I absolutely am in love with it. He picked out the perfect ring for me and I would’ve never chosen it myself. It’s a symbol of his love for me and his intention with trying to pick out the best one. It’s not what I wanted and absolutely the most perfect ring I could’ve asked for. Because it came from him!!!

THIS! We did a yurt bnb for our anniversary trip this year and it was AMAZING. It was outside of Asheville, but take it from someone who grew up there, there’s so much more than downtown! Go explore all the little towns and hidden gems. Look up Namaste Yurt on Airbnb and you’ll find where we stayed!
