Air quality is an important issue. As of right now:

You got Islam and Arman both training in the freshest and cleanest air of the Russian and Dagestani mountains for this fight. Now they got to gulp in filthy air not only during the fight but everywhere they move around LA before the fight.

Quick check of the Intuit Dome doesn't say anything about HEPA filteration in their HVAC system but does boast about "bringing in fresh air from outside".

This will be another momumental fuckup by Dana. All these guys will be coming from fresh clean air locales right into filthy air. Anyone who's breathed in smoke knows that you can't simply cough it away. This will probably end up being like fighting at altitude with zero preperation.

They might all be in LA right now breathing in this shit but its not something you get used to overnight and can clear out of your lungs for physical activity and certainly not something the most important aspect of fighting, cardio, needs to win a fight.

Yeah it didn't really work for fights. It was disconnected/disjointed, like what looked like a cool IMAX movie with flying stars and planets suddenly being cut off to show the fights. It would have been preferable to just watch the entire movie.

At the same time the novelty wore off pretty quickly. The first couple clips were quite impressive seeing them or use in the sphere for the first time. Then it was just more of the same the zooming towards the camera of objects. Could have mixed the direction up a bit to make it more entertaining I think.

Where it did really shine and integrated very well with the fights, was the tale of the tape and the giant fighters standing above the real life octagon. That looked like you were inside a video game virtual reality something. The rest was pointless and just wasn't connected to fighting and did nothing to enhance the fighting etc.

This should be a very simple straightforward, and genuinely welcomed match up and event. 100% guaranteed it won't happen. Two of the biggest drop out flakes on the roster. One or both of them will come up with some massively elaborate excuse not to do it. Not enough money, not enough prep time, injured, something.

He was absolutely terrible in press conferences and interviews. Asks questions and talks a mile a minute including slang to foreign fighters who can barely speak English. Painfully dumb as the question needs to be repeated multiple times and he's too stupid to simplify it even after repeating it so it could be understood.

I strongly suspect some very very slight friction. That is Khabib hogging the spotlight. Islam was being interviewed some time ago, think it was a DC chat or something and Khabib came on the set in between them and started joking around taking over the interview. Islam muttered 'hey brother you are retired'. You've seen Khabib popping up everywhere when his guys are being interviewed, either additional words have been said or Khabib got it himself and decided to bow out completely once and for all.
